[Wristbands: Chapter Fifty-Five]

The day after Cassie was born, she and Aspen were transferred to St. Mungo's. During Cassie's few hours of life, her ability had finally dimmed down to one feature change an hour, eventually, it settled with black hair and green eyes. The St. Mungo's doctors said it was normal that it stopped so quickly, that she only changed so much in the womb because she was still developing.

Wendy screamed when she heard the news of her being godmother. She then immediately started crying, she went to give her best friend a hug but a muggle doctor yelled at her because of Aspens incisions. Instead, they gave each other a high five. James gave a smug smile, and got some 'bro-hugs' from the boys. Surprisingly, Lily seemed ecstatic to be the aunt rather than the godmother. She went on and on about the things she and Cassie would be doing when Cassie was old enough to comprehend what was going on.

Meeting the baby was like a dream for the others, due to Cassie being in the NICU, they had to wear special hospital gowns which made the unknowing purebloods confused out of their minds. James cried when he held his goddaughter, as did Wendy who hadn't stopped crying since she was informed of her relation to the little girl.

Remus couldn't stop smiling after being forcefully made to hold the child. He was scared he was going to break her. Aspen only laughed and told him he was like a giant teddy bear, he couldn't hurt a fly. Peter held the baby for a second, for some reason after looking at her he began to grow anxious. He passed her to Lily who smiled down at the baby, unknowingly to everyone her ovaries did multiple backflips as they craved a child. Hopefully soon the war would end, and then she and James could have a beautiful baby.

Lastly to hold the baby was James' parents. Effie took the girl first, she, of course, cried. She hugged the baby and joked about wanting another baby which both Fleamont and James choked on their drinks to. Fleamont held Cassie next, though, like Peter, he only held the baby girl for a short period of time before passing her on back to Aspen. Aspen couldn't believe how easy it was to be a mother already. All Cassie did was sleep, and if she weren't sleeping, she was awake and smiling. St. Mungo's allowed Cassie to be in the same room as her parents over night. Though, like the muggle hospital, they were going to keep them both in separate rooms seeing as Aspen and Cassie had just went through a c-section.

It was around midnight and Aspen was awake, staring at her sleeping baby in a small crib beside her. Sirius slept on a small cot that the nurses had brought. Their friends and family had all left hours before, wanting to give them their first night alone together with the baby. Aspen kind of hoped that Cassie would awake, only so she could have a reason hold her. Though, she couldn't do that to the poor thing, Aspen herself would be pissed if her mother had woken her up from her peaceful nap after being cut out of her home of six months.
