WARNING: Super long... I hope you survive.
Logan had found himself where he thought he'd never step foot in, a club.
As he walked into the club, he saw a bunch of battered and beaten people, whether that be physically or emotionally, they were all here for a reason.
Logan had made his way to the Booth in the farthest corner from the scene happening in the center of the club.
Logan had found this club through a poster in the middle of town, the poster had stated that there was going to be a drag race here, Logan couldn't say that's the only reason he came.
Logan was lost in the thoughts of how his previous relationship fell apart and how it was held together through solid moments of intoxication.
Logan was interrupted from his thoughts when a server, not much shorter than himself, had suddenly begun speaking to him. "And what can I get for you?"
Logan looked up to see a bright young man, much like himself, with natural brown hair that captivated his buzzcut and bright complexion to go with his light blue eyes.
Logan began to wonder, how could someone so bright, work at such a dark place? He wasn't given much time to think about due to the sudden realization of him pondering in his thoughts for too long "Are you okay, sir?"
Logan took a moment to think about what he had just asked: Are you okay, sir? Of course, physically, he was fine.. but emotionally... emotionally he was hurt, hurt to far from repair.
With the thought on hand, Logan groaned and retorted nothing but a simple "I'm Fine."
Of course, the server knew that was false, everyone who had come in here was either performing or drinking away their problems. No one ever came in here just to have a good time anymore. "So, are you going to answer my question?"
Logan raised his eyebrow, he never recalled any other question other than Are you okay? Which.. he was. Taking the moment to conduct a hypothesis on what the server may have asked.
Logan simply looked around and smirked at the realization as to why this man was here. "Just... something strong."
The server had smiled brightly as he walked to the bar, a list of suggestive alcoholic beverages crusading through his mind at one hundred miles per hour. He wasn't always so sure, but it was a possibility that he was so good at this job for his high energy levels.
"What will it be for the dashingly smart fellow I just saw you talking to?" The Server had rolled his eyes, a faint smile was present as he told his fellow colleague and friend Roman what the other had wanted.
Logan had sat diagonally across the seat of the booth, he was sitting alone so he saw no harm in doing so. Logan watched as the server leaned over the bar, the fluorescent lights gleaming perfectly over his body as he talked to the bartender. Something about watching that moment had made Logan feel an oddly familiar feeling in his chest, one that he wasn't so sure he was ready to feel again.
The server had turned to look back at Logan, for a moment Logan forgot how to breathe. His heart began to race as if he was just caught doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing.
Immediately, Logan had looked away, his face was flushed and for a moment he had realized that he wasn't in control of how he was feeling.
Before he knew it, the Server had returned with an awfully bright drink in his hand, it had looked to be of some sort of alcoholic slushie. More alcohol than slush, with sugar that traced the rim of the glass.
The server had set the glass in front of Logan with a bright smile, The server had been watching him expectedly as if he were waiting for some sort of validation.
Logan huffed as he took a tentative sip of the drink. Upon tasting it, he winced at how sweet it was but other than that.. it was good. The sense of fruitiness slid don his throat with ease but the sweetness made it hard to consume.
"So?" Logan was snapped from his thoughts once more as he slid the glass that was filled with an overly sugared slush to The Server.
"It's too sweet, I thought I said something strong?" Logan internally cursed at himself for possibly being too harsh, but he didn't have time to scold himself before the server had taken the glass with a bright smile and made his way to the bar, once again leaning on the said bar.
Logan looks over to the scene in the center of the club as he waits for the server to return with whatever drink he could get a buzz from. There had been a black stage set up with white lights wrapped around the rims, an awfully intriguing aesthetic.
Around the stage there had been a crowd of people either waiting to perform of awaiting the show, either way, it was quite (again) intriguing to watch. As Logan's gaze drifted across the room, he found himself watching the server again.
He watched as the lights danced on his skin and how with every little thing he said the edge of his lips perked up into a small smile. A smile so small yet so pure made Logan's heartache, what that ache was about to him was unknown.
It could've been because it reminded him of his previous relationship, but in all honesty... it didn't. Logan watched as The server rolled his eyes and grabbed the drink from the counter.
Those icy blue eyes, Logan could get lost in them all day if he wanted to, but being here he knew that he would never come across this man ever... especially in a romantic sense.
The server had just walked back from being teased by Roman, He tried to shake the thought of him and the man he had been serving ever having any sort of future like Roman had suggested as he placed the second drink on the table. "This should be a little better."
Logan had quarked his brow as he hesitantly took a sip of the clear liquid. It was thick and burned going down but it seemed to do the job.
The server decided to sit across from Logan with a bright smile. "Come here alone?"
Logan just rolled his eyes as he swirled his glass, of course, the server had known he was alone. He hadn't seen anyone with Logan at all throughout the night... or, throughout the fifteen minutes that he's been here. He wasn't quite sure why but on a brief moment of pure curiosity, Logan had kept his gaze on the alcohol in his hand and stated "If you're going to hang around... I'm going to need a name."
The server smiled, he didn't know if he should take the moment to use as leverage to learn the others name or just oblige. Ignoring the internal battle within him, The server simply stated "Patton... and yours?"
Logan was slightly surprised that he got Patton's name so easily, he at least expected some sort of hesitation from him. Being that he had given his name without hesitation, it was only fair that Logan does the same, with that, Logan took a quick drink and retorted "Logan."
