This one is sad- like my life- 

10:29 pm

Roman had been in a car crash, one so bad that it had totaled the car from it flipping about five times.

His boyfriend, Logan, had gotten this horrid feeling in his gut that made him sit up in his bed where he got the call- the call that made him run out of his apartment.

10:30 pm

Logan had grabbed his jacket as he darted down the dark alleyway to where the person on the other line had said Roman was crashed... He had almost made it when he had run into a woman and her paper bag filled with groceries. He spun in a circle as he apologized and continued to run.

Logan ran as fast as he could down the city streets until he came across a homeless person, he at first had tripped and apologized quickly as he dropped what he had in his pocket inside the man's mug as he continued to run toward the wreckage.

10:35 pm

Logan ran and he ran, his breath became desperate for air and he knew that it was a long and tedious run but he still had to do it- For Roman.

Roman, however, was sitting on top of the car that was placed upside down- he wasn't really expecting anything... just sitting.

10:40 pm

Logan hadn't even walked up to the car when he saw Roman, his body had been sticking out of the driver seat- lifeless...

Denial:

It had been a month since Roman had passed and here Logan was- laying in the same apartment, same bed, same everything. 

He's not dead... there's no way he's dead... If I just go back I'll find him and he'll pop out and scream "GOTCHA NERD!"

Logan had walked back to the site of the accident and had found nothing, no Roman, no car, nothing.

Anger:

It had been a few months and Logan couldn't stop thinking about the night of the accident and how if he could've been faster than he could've saved Roman's life...

He grew angry with himself and began to retrace his steps over and over again...

Depression:

Along with the Anger stage- also began the 3rd stage of grief... Depression. Logan would consistently just sit there and be angry at himself as he let the emptiness eat him alive.

It took him years to get over these stages- but he eventually did...

Did he ever get over Roman? No.
