Roman had finally defeated every 'bad guy' in his beloved land when he looked off to the distance and noticed a darkly dressed man hiding.

Virgil was that man. As he saw Roman stare at him with some gleam to his eyes, Virgil got up and pulled his sword out. "When you think you're finally reaching the end..."

Roman drew his sword, stumbling a bit but his gaze never faltering from Virgil's eyes.
Virgil chuckled at Romans epiphany, he would've killed him there... too bad he was sad.
"...Then you realize you're just pretending."

Virgil swung at Roman with a groan but Roman quickly deflected. "You only want to tell the story right, but You're haunted by the black and white... It's not as simple as you thought, but Was it all, all for not?"

Roman and Virgil fought for their lives, each end giving it all until Virgil found himself on the edge of a cliff. He smirked and lowered his sword. "When the story drops you hard into the pavement, Even though you thought you knew what to behave meant, But you find out you were thinking wrong, As you wind up back where you belong, And you try to get it right, but Instead it just comes back to bite you...."

Virgil paused for a moment, leaving Roman to lower his sword. "...I never wanted to be the bad guy but that's just how the story goes."

Silence followed then Roman pulled Virgil away from the edge of the cliff with a kiss.
"It doesn't have to be how the story goes."
