I really enjoyed writing this but- It's my very bad attempt to start writing something creepy or give you a creepy feel... idk.

Roman was hanging out with his brother when they came across the seemingly abandoned house. The house that had been abandoned for years now held a sold sign in front of it. Roman had stopped walking as he just stood in front of the house, now attracting the others attention.

"Roman? What is it?" Logan had stopped when he noticed what Roman was staring at, he simply chuckled to himself and walked up to Roman. "It's just a childhood fear, of a house of all things."

Roman scoffed and acted wounded at Logan's little remark. "It is not!"

Virgil had just moved into an old and broken down house, it wasn't his choice, his father thought it'd be best due to his current.... situation.

Virgil was in the attic, where his father had decided his bedroom would be. Boxes were spread everywhere along with untouched furniture, Virgil hadn't exactly felt like unpacking his things so he just walked to the window and gazed out to see two boys looking back at him.

Virgil's anxiety was already kicking in, he sighed when his brother laid his hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry kiddo. You'll do great!"

Virgil looked down at the grass outside, or what grass he actually had and let out a shaky breath. "You don't think that they'll think I'm weird?"

His brother shook his head vigorously and smiled brightly, "No way! You're a cool kid, and you're gonna make all the coolest friends with the best Dad-Jokes!"

Virgil chuckled and turned away from the window "I'm not telling Dad-Jokes."

Roman raised his eyebrow as he watched the boy in the attic window, he seemed to be talking but to who? "Hey Lo?"

Logan's attention was no longer on the house, he had been reading on his phone, now growing impatient with Roman. "What is it Roman?"

Roman pointed up to the window, seemingly confused. "Look up there- there's no one there but he's talking to someone."

Logan put his phone in his pocket and looked up at the window, not as expected, Roman was correct. "Well, we can only see him, not what is on either side of the room. There may be someone on the far end whom we cannot see from here, understood?"

Roman simply nodded as he put the thought to rest, "Yeah... I do."

It had been a week and neither had Roman nor Logan seen the boy from the window, that was until the first day of their Junior year.

Logan and Roman were walking to school together when the boy had stepped outside of the gates from his house. Roman felt the excitement seeth through him as they walked by.

Virgil turned to shut the gate that surrounded his house when his brother, Patton decided to show. "Did you remember everything?"

Virgil groaned and whispered as quietly as he could in case anyone was around. "Yes." Then he felt a tap on his shoulder and jumped around, nearly screaming.

He was greeted by a young man around his age in a red jersey, white t-shirt, and blue jeans. The other beside him had no intent on saying hello as he continued to read... Virgil didn't mind that much, he could tell he was a huge book worm though from his apparel.

He wore a black shirt and blue tie with khakis, his slicked-back hair and glasses pulled it all together.

"Greetings!" The young man in red approached him in what seemed to be a bright expression, Virgil sighed and dashed his glance to the side out of habit when his brother had jumped up behind him. "NEW FRIENDS!"

Virgil tried his best to hide his reaction to Patton's sudden outburst but he ended up jumping which caused confusion in the other two. "Sorry, Did we startle you?"

Virgil shook his head and glared at Patton, "N-No.. No, I'm fine." Patton giggled and punched Virgil's shoulder as he began to walk to school. "Well hi Fine, I'm Patton!"

There was only one issue... Virgil's brother Patton died when he was five.
