Emile had finally been released from his work, he gathered his notebook and said goodbye to all of the little trinkets that remained at the office. Emile made his way home when he saw his boyfriend walking. "Remy?"
Remy internally winced but played it off. "Emile! Gurl, how was work!"
Emile shook his head, "Don't play me like that... what are you doing?"
Remy sighed and looked at Emile through his glasses. "Listen, I was just getting you something for your birthday but if you don't want it I can return it-" Remy turned around with a sly grin as Emile grabbed Remy's shoulder and pulled him back. "NO, I want it!"
Remy giggled and pulled out a stuffed animal from behind his back making Emile squeal. Now that particular stuffed animal wasn't just any stuffie... it was lion from Steven Universe.
Emile was so happy, he squealed till he coughed. "Ya good fam?" Emile nodded and hugged Remy tightly. "I love you so much!"
Remy giggled and hugged Emile back "I wanted to give it to you for our date tonight but oh well"
Remy swished his coffee around and got in the car with Emile as they made their way home
