(A/N) I kind of designed it to look like the picture. Imagine it like a map where the homes are more time-related venues (idk like food stalls and such) and most of the characters were near the beach
"Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay at the beach!" Anna cheerfully exclaimed as the group of Shepherds entered the private beach.
"Ooooo! This looks fun!" Lissa cooed and ran ahead towards the water with a worried Frederick chasing after her. The resort Anna and your Anna were harassing Chrom, Cordelia, Gaius, and Tharja by forcing them into bathing suits. Stahl and Gregor lazed around eating ice cream and Gaius was trying to fend his candy off from bugs. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the occasion except for those not accustomed to the climate; more specifically, Lon'qu.
The sun was excruciating especially for those from Regna Ferox, they lived in such a frigid climate after all. You decide that maybe you should go try to talk to him - besides it's not like he could possibly be more miserable than he already was.
"Hey, Lon'qu."
He grunted.
"I'm assuming you're not use to the heat?"
Silence.
"Hey why don't we climb up the hillside? We'll stay out of the sun that way and the breeze from the ocean will cool us off! It even looks like there's a place to sit on top in the shade." He closed his eyes for a moment, then nodded.
You both proceeded to find a dirt pathway that would lead to the top of the hill. The air was salty and the breeze cooled both of you down.
Recently you two have become closer, emotionally and physically, he didn't jump back like he used to. Despite the two of you not always having great encounters (the multiple fig incidents and the poking him in the ribs) you wanted to become closer to him. You felt you came off of the wrong fig-er foot. He probably thinks your a madwoman, as he has told you before, but that wasn't who you entirely were. Yes you are a tad bit crazy but you were still a good person and wanted to show him that. Recently you've just been focusing on just making him laugh, like you did that one fateful day. But right now, you wanted to make a move on him. And what's more romantic that a seaside stroll? You thought about what a genius you were until you almost run into him as he abruptly stops.
"Hold on." He says as he draws his sword.
"Gods!" You exclaim, "The Risen are here too?" You pull out a spell book and you two begin fighting against about 25 Risen soldiers.

"I-is that? Is that the last of them?" You say panting.
"Yes, it's all clear." You turn to look at him. You're so close. With the slightest movement you would be leaning on his chest. He didn't even flinch at the proximity. In fact he does something even more shocking.
"Thank you, for having my back." You say.
"Always." He smiles. He smiles. It made your heart flutter. Before you get a chance to comment he returns to his stoic look.
"We're almost at the top." Your hands graze each other's and he continues onward. Once you reach the top there was a shady area under a tree. You both stop and sit under it. You think to yourself that this is a perfect opportunity. And you tilt your head and rest it on his shoulder. He tensed up, but he didn't move. The mission was a success. Your seaside adventure gave each other insight about the other. Even this little gesture, it was enough. Especially when it was Lon'qu. He let you into his heart.

"That's a keeper." Anna laughed manically.
