Darcy

"I found you."

What? What does he mean he found me? My eyes widen to the size of saucers. I yank his pendant out of his large hand and stared down at it. A lump caught in my throat but I wasn't exactly sure how to feel about this. I don't know whether to feel nervous about what's to happen now or if I should be a bit thankful that it's Harry; the highschool sweetheart that every girl wants. Who am I kidding? It's over with now.

Harry's pendant is the exact same silver cross as mine.

Harry is my soul mate.

My mouth open and closes over and over again, trying to form some type of sentence but I simply can't. I don't know what to think. Finding my soul mate wasn't something I wanted to do during high school. I wanted to live my life to the fullest while I could. Now my life basically belongs to Harry.

As Stevie said, any girl would be lucky to have Harry as their soul mate. I guess I just have to determine whether or not that statement is true.

Harry smiled and cupped my cheeks, looking me straight in the eye. "Darcy, you're my soul mate. I have found you. Oh, my God. We have to go fill out the papers! I need to know everything about you and I'll tell you everything about me! We can live together, we can do anything you want how you want it to be done."

I'm gonna be completely honest, we've just met and he's already the one of the sweetest guys I know. He's willing to do whatever I want us to do although he's kind of overexaggerating it at the moment. It's still nice.

"Alright. Well, first of all we should get to know each other and then sign the papers. After that, we can meet each other parents and figure out what we're going to do after that." I explained.

I watched as Harry bounced up and down on his toes with a wide grin plastered on his face. He looked truly happy. I guess I should try and be happy as well because, like he said, it was bound to happen.

"Excited?" I asked him.

"Very. I thought I was going to get a shitty soul mate but I got you and you're amazing!" he nearly yelled. Grabbing my cheeks again, he placed a giant kiss to my forehead. I enjoyed the gesture, all while thinking of a great idea for us.

"Hey Harry, are you the rebellious type?" I ask with a devious smirk on my face.

"Rebellious? Only if you want me to be, I guess but not really. No."

I grabbed his hand and his book, "Good. Now let's go."

"Go where?" he asked as I pulled him through the lunchroom. I hadn't answered, just kept dragging him through the halls.

We were headed to my safe haven. I haven't been here since the 9th grade so I wonder what it looks like now. It was a place I would go when I was having a bad time and need some time to myself. I have only ever taken one person there but I'd rather not speak of that certain subject.

I'm hoping and praying that the government didn't destroy it. That was the one place where I could find peace all to myself. Harry is going to be a major part of my life so if there's a place where I want to get to know him, it's here. We can be ourselves. Just Harry and I.

I had taken Harry out through the back door and texted the principal, who happened to be my uncle, and notified him that we wouldn't be in school for the rest of the day. I had grabbed Harry's bicep to lead him to where we were going but he slid his arm up so that our hands met and our fingers entwined. It wasn't a foreign feeling but it felt comforting and I didn't want to let go. So I didn't.
