Darcy

Harry and I are finally home. Our time in England and Paris was absolutely amazing and it was definitely a time to remember. Harry still hasn't confessed his love for me out loud, though. He'll say it through text or write it down but it's still not the same. I can't exactly feel his emotion or hear the tone of love in his voice. It's alright, though. He's just needs some time to get used to the feeling I guess...

Harry and I have literally spent every day together, sleeping over each others houses and always keeping in contact. We decided that we were going to spend some quality time with our own families. Harry with Gemma the whole day and me with my mom going to an elegant dinner for the night.

"So how are you and Harry? The power couple." my mom asks.

"Yeah, we're a power couple alright. Call me crazy but we've confessed our love already after 2 weeks. Well, I think you could say that. Harry hasn't said it out loud because of some unknown reason." I explained.

"Oh it's possible, my dear. It's not the amount of days or weeks that matter, it's what you do during your time together. It's about how deep and how far your infatuation with each other go. You pickin' up what I'm puttin' down?"

I laugh at my mom's sense of humor but she's right. I became infatuated with Harry on the same day I met him. I gave him a chance and we got to know each other so much and see different sides of each other in just that one day and I liked it. I liked him. The two of us got to know each other even more and even built a relationship. To no surprise, I fell for him. Honestly, giving him such an easy chance was the best choice, I think, that I've ever made.

"Oh I am, Ma. I am. But yeah," I let out a sigh of happiness. "he took me to Paris and the Eiffel Tower and I told him I was in love with him. He didn't say it back but eventually, when we got to the Lock Fence, he wrote it on the lock. I don't know if he's scared to say it or..."

"Have you talked to him about it?"

"No... I mean, I told him I understood but my mind just keeps looking into it and now I'm not sure anymore." I told her. And it's true, is there something he hasn't told me yet? A reason why he won't say it? "I trust him and I even told him about Poppy and Ashton. Do you think he has a story of his own?"

Mom wrapped her arm around my neck loosely and said, "I can't imagine how hard it was for you to tell Harry about your losses, believe me. But Harry is a great guy. Just ask him about it and if he has something to hide like you did yourself, give him time until he finally wants to tell you, sweetie."

"Yeah... Okay..."

I was pretty excited for this whole elegant dinner. It's not everyday that my mom and I find an excuse to dress very fancy and hot. I found it fun. It was as if we could be different people for just this one night.

For this fancy little dinner, I wore a cute, white and grey dress that landed just above my knees, a long black trenchcoat and a pair of glossy black heels.. My hair was loosely curled with red lip gloss, mascara and liquid eyeliner. I wore my Nanny's wedding ring that she had passed on to me, a few bracelets and a long necklace with a heart on it.

As I walked down the stairs I could see what my mother was wearing and to say she looked stunning would be an understatement. She was fitted in a beautiful flowy black dress with a black and white coat with different designs on it, heeled, leather knee-high boots and her hair and makeup was casual yet... cute.

We both did a little spin with a kick at the end and squealed, running into each other's arms.

"You look gorgeous, my Darcy girl." she complemented.

"As do you. You look absolutely beautiful, my mother woman." Terrible joke but we laughed anyways.

The car ride consisted of us belting out the words to Stand By Me, Baby Come Back, Total Eclipse of the Heart and Kids in America. Soon we were parked at this fancy restaurant I've never seen before called "The Heart of the Moon". Okay, so we dressed appropriately I see.

When we pulled up, a valet took our keys and parked the car, giving us a little slip. Mom just smiled at me, giving me a 'How fancy is this?' look. There was even a person to hold the door when we walked in!

"Hello! Welcome to The Heart of the Moon. Reservations or a table for 2?" The chirpy blonde waitress asked.

"Reservations." my mom said.

"Okay, what's the name?"

"Raine." So she used my last name, eh?

"Okay. Right this way, ladies."

The restaurant was five-star just with the looks. The lights are dim and the aroma of fresh smelling food roams around in the air. My tummy growls with excitement... and hunger. In the center of the restaurant, a small moon hangs from the ceiling, lights shining out of it and onto the plastic stars taped on the ceiling.

Soft music played in the background and there was even an open room for people to dance on. The tables were covered with baby blue table-clothes and wine glasses and wanna bet? -- 4 different forks, spoons and knives.

We seemed to be headed to the direction of the moon. Much to my pleasure and confusion, we were sat right under the moon. This was nice and all but, my mom could never afford this. We could barely afford our dresses! Once we were sat and settled down, looking at the menu after ordering our drinks, I decided to ask.

"Hey Momma?"

She looked up from her menu with a smile, "Yes, honey?"

"How did you afford all of this?"

"I didn't pay for this, my--"

The blond waitress with a black apron and bright red lipstick was back with our drinks, interupting whatever it was that my mother was going to tell me.

"Appetizers?" the lady who's name tag said, Amy, asked.

"Hmm..." I hummed. Suddenly a man popped up from behind the waitress. He was pretty good-looking. Not my age, definitely mom's but he had some facial hair and a shaved, nearly bald, head but it suited him.

"For the beautiful young ladies, I would suggest our best wine and our chicken wings. How about it?" The man spoke with a bright smile.

"That would be great! You?" Mom said, looking from him to me.

"Under aged drinking? Sure! Chicken wings? Hmm... Normal or Mild?"

"Whatever you prefer." Then he leaned in and placed a hand to the side of his mouth, "I suggest mild, though."

"Even better." I smiled. Mom was already looking at me with a wide smile on her face. I wiggled my eyebrows, practically saying 'He's cute and you're single. Go for it woman!'

"Well then, please get the beautiful women what they need Amy." he sent the waitress off. "Hello, I'm Brian, the owner of this restaurant. Pleasure to meet you, Darcy."

"Pleasure to meet you too - wait, how do you know my name?" I said, raising an eyebrow. Turns out, my mom already went for it.

"That's what I was going to tell you, Darcy. I didn't pay for any of this. Brian did. He's my boyfriend."

A/N oH get it Mandy whoot whoot!
