When I heard the creaking of the door, that's when the nerves hit. My heart pounded against my chest as I tried to really think about the situation. Harry and I have been together for about a week now and we already met each other's parents, I've met his sister and now I'm meeting his brother. I love the way he acts toward his family with such love. I think... I think I'm falling for him.

No. I'm not falling for him. I won't. I can't. I promised myself I wouldn't fall in love with anyone after - no. I can not and will not talk about my past love-life.

A few steps in and we saw the whole room. It had white walls with green stickers all over it, stuffed animals and toys on the table. Sadly, there were lots of machines and stuff surrounding the hospital bed... but he needed it. His life depended on it. And there he was. A little boy with dirty blonde - almost brown - hair with these sparkling green eyes, and pale skin, wearing a hospital gown with race cars imprinted on it. My heart broke with every blink as I looked around. Nobody, not even Buddy, deserved this lifestyle.

I wondered if he was using chemo because he wasn't bald, he actually had an average head of hair. When Buddy saw his family, he smiled a beautiful smile. He resembled Harry so much. The eyes, the hair, the smile. They were both so beautiful. When Buddy saw Harry, he hopped on his bum in the hospital bed and opened his little arms.

"Harry!" he shouted in his high-pitched, accented voice.

"Buddy!" Harry shouted back.

Harry ran into his arms and held him in a long embrace before kissing Buddy's forehead. They didn't pull away for quite a while so I took out my iPhone 5 and snapped some pictures. This is definitely a moment to remember. When Harry and Buddy did, finally, pull away, the smiles on their faces were priceless. I was still taking pictures.

"Alright, alright. Put the camera away." Harry teased. Then he turned to his little brother. "My little Romeo, I'd like for you to meet my girlfriend and soul mate, Darcy Grace Raine." There goes those butterflies again.

Buddy's mouth turned into an 'o' shape and his eyes lit up more, which I could've sworn was impossible. He then outstretched his arms but this time, he wanted a hug from me. I walked to him and wrapped my arms around his thin, frail body.

"You're very beautiful. Please take care of Big Harold when I go." he whispered and pulled away.

When. He didn't say 'if' he said 'when'. My heart didn't break. It was thrown into a paper shredder and the shreds were burned in a fire. I almost felt like crying because he was bound to pass away and that's the sad truth.

I gave Romeo a sweet peck on his forehead and turned back to Harry, wrapping my arms around him and then removing one arm to face Romeo.

Anne and Robin then greeted him and we all sat down to catch up with Romeo. I took more pictures; Anne and Harry holding Romeo's hands, Anne kissing his cheek, Robin holding Anne, everyone laughing at one of Buddy's jokes, ecetera.

I held Harry's hand the whole time. I knew that behind the happiness and the smiles that he was portraying for Romeo, he was broken. He was full of sorrow. It was quite obvious that he was trying his best not to break down because he knows how much it would hurt the person he cares about most.

"How did you two meet?" Romeo asked Harry and I.

Harry looked at me and smiled before saying, "Darcy walked up to me when I was alone, reading at lunch. She just came and said 'hi', said a few things and we found out we were soul mates."

"I took him to this place behind the school that I always go to. Harry and I told each other almost everything." I added. "He's said a few things about you, too."
