Harry

I woke up to the sweet smell of chocolate. Darcy's hair. For some reason, she washes it with a regular shampoo but it turns out smelling like chocolate. No one knows why but I don't care - I love it. She was still sleeping in one of my t-shirts, her back facing me but my arms still gently hooked around her waste. Her breathing was slow - Darcy still very much asleep.

She hadn't noticed the little blanket tent I set up for while she was in a coma when she walked in. I think she was just determined to wash her body. When we did get out of the bath, she saw the tent and insisted we spend a few nights in it. She loved it more than I thought she would.

I nuzzled my face into her hair, giving it a little whiff and then kissing her forehead. She only stirred but did not wake up. I decided to lay for a few extra minutes to enjoy her presence and warm. It was so great to finally share the same bed for the night again. Usually we'd take turns sleeping over each other's houses every night but... ya know.

I knew I'd never get enough of holding Darcy but I remembered that I'd never get enough of her precious smile so I decided I was going to get up and make her breakfast in bed - knowing that it'd make her happy. We could really use some 'us' time with everything that's going on, anyways.

My arm wiggled its way from under hers as I peeled myself away from her and wrapped her in the blankets. Her breathing was still slow, notifying me that she had not woken up from my movement. The gust of cold air hit me as I got up from the air matress so I grabbed a robe on my way out.

Not having much to make breakfast with, I made a bowl of Fruit Loops cereal, smothered nutella and peanut butter on a bluberry poptart, a clementine and a glass of apple juice. When I walked back to the tent with a tray, I found Darcy still sleeping soundly all cuddled up in the blankets.

It may sound creepy but I stared at her. I watched the way her face would occasionally nuzzled into the pillow, I watched how her hair stays in a mess above her head, I watched how she sucked her bottom lip and how her nose would flare as she took a larger breath. I absolutely adored her and I think that if she didn't know that I loved her now, this moment would be one where I shook her awake and told her everything that I love about her.

It's unbelievable how my infatuation has grown so rapidly and now I am in love with her.

I snapped myself out of my staring trance to set the tray down and crawl over to her. I hovered over her, hands on each side of her head and I dipped down and place a small kiss on her cheek. There was something about her cheeks that gave me the urge to kiss them all the time. They were chubby and soft.

When she didn't wake up, I lifted a hand to stroke her hand softly as I pecked her cheek a few more times. Soon enough, I found that I was not waking her up, I was making her fall into a deeper sleep. My finger traced a soft line from her temple, down her throat, in between her breasts (over her shirt) and stopped at her belly where her surgery was done. It was now that I realized her belly button was not going to be visible any longer. It would be a bunch of scars now.

But I didn't care about the destroyed physical appearance. Not in a harsh way but in a sense that it didn't lessen my love for her. I think my love for her has grown with how courageous and strong she is.

I repeated my movements twice, applying a little more pressure as I did so. Then I stopped and rubbed her stomach, over the patch that we had put on last night. Her body shifted so that she was flat on her back. With eyes still closed she said, "Please don't stop. That feels great. It's soothing."

So I didn't. "I made you breakfast in bed."

"You did?" her beautiful chocolate eyes coming into view, the long, dark eyelashes surrounded them.

Her smile was wide and contageous - I had to smile back. "Ta da." I trailed. My arm spread out to show her the tray of sugary breakfast.

"That's not necessarily healthy..." Darcy's smile only growing wider.

I cleared my throat. "There's apple juice, a clementine and the poptart is bluberry flavored. If that's not healthy then I don't know what is."

The ringing of her angelic laugh was music to my ears. She gripped my bathrobe-covered shoulders and pulled me down to connect our lips in a loving kiss. Before she could dominate, I bit her lip. When she gasped is when I slipped my tongue in. The 'tongue war' going on through the kiss lasted a good 3 minutes without getting too heated.

I pulled away, out of breath and smiled at her. Our noses nudged each others as I rested my forehead on hers. "Your food..."

"I love you." Darcy said powerfully but love evident in her tone.

I pecked her lips twice. "I love you, too."

And we dug in.

A/N Okay... I know. Sappy and full of love but super short - like what?
