Hogwarts, 1996

Sixth Year

I was sitting on the train, just contemplating life. So many crazy things happened on the holidays and I wasn't sure on how to comprehend it all. Draco wrote to me and told me to just continue on with life as normal, and to most definitely not tell anyone about his left forearm. Apparently, Voldemort had given him a task to complete, but he refuses to tell me what it is.

At 12 Grimmauld Place, I had learned about the Order of the Phoenix and Harry's theories on how Draco was a Death Eater. I tried to shut him down, but he was very adamant and I was worried that he'd get Draco into trouble. I bonded with Tonks and was quite comfortable with her now. She'd never replace my mother, but I'm glad my dad was happy. He was going to propose to her soon and I wasn't sure how my mother would react.

"Mrs. Malfoy." I could hear the smirk in his voice. I turned around to meet the person who brought me out of my thoughts. His blonde hair was slightly more dishevelled and I could see the bags under his eyes. Probably stressing. My heart pulled at the thought of my grandfather hurting him.

"Not married yet, hun." I winked back. He chuckled and sat down beside me. He rubbed my stomach and gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"We'll be okay. We'll have more babies in the future. Brothers and sisters for Medea." I smiled at his cute suggestion, blushing at the thought of the baby making process.

He placed his hand on my thigh and began dragging it upwards, liking the increasing heat that was gathering on my face. It was only until Pansy Parkinson, Crabbe and Goyle joined us that he stopped. Draco acted like nothing had happened and I wasn't sure whether to be hurt or not by the fact that he didn't show me any affection in front of everyone else.

I zoned out while they talked about Harry or whatever and noticed in the corner of my eye, the train carriage door slide shut. But no one came in and no one went out. I shook it off and continued to think about school and the new teachers and what my grandfather had planned.

Before I knew it, the train came to a stop and I got up and waited for Draco to stand up.

"I just have to check something." He smiled to me. I nodded and got off the train, looking for Harry or someone to walk with.

"Wotcher, [Name]!" I looked up to see Tonks with her bright pink hair and cheeky smile. She was holding her wand and had a ring on her finger. "Haven't seen Harry anywhere, have you?"

I shook my head and gave an apologetic smile. "No, sorry, Tonks. He might still be on the train."

She pat me on the shoulder and smiled. "It's okay, I'll find him." And off she went. I hopped on a carriage with Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Luna and Neville.

"Where's Harry?" Ron asked.

"No idea. He must still be on the train." I simply replied.

"Where's Malfoy?" Neville asked.

"He was still on the train when I left."

Hermione and Ron seemed quite alarmed by this and began to talk in hushed whispers. I watched as the thestrals took us to the carriage. They seemed a little more ominous now that I knew who I had seen die. Benji probably would have loved animals. I let out a sigh and made sure to keep the tears in. No one had to know the traumatising past I had.

We made it to the castle and I felt relieved as I saw the familiar gates and massive towers. This was the one place I felt safe. A home away from Death Eaters and family problems. We walked into the Great Hall and I went and sat by the Ravenclaw table. There was still no sign of Harry and Draco and I was starting to get a little worried. The Sorting finished and still no sign of them. Until the doors opened and Draco came strutting in. Hushed whispers filled the Hall, but he ignored them. I tried to get his attention but he didn't look my way.

A few minutes after, Harry walked in, blood on his face. I was confused. It looked like his nose had been broken, but by who? I snapped my eyes over towards blonde hair and stormy grey eyes and made eye contact with him. He smirked and gave me a wink, and that's when I realised that Draco broke Harry's nose. That's what he wanted to check on. I thought he was better than that, but I guess some people don't change.

It was time for us to go back to our dorms and I led the way for all the Ravenclaws. I was still a prefect and still had to do all of my rounds. It was tiresome, but at least I represented the school and had access to the Prefect's Bathroom. It was the best thing I had ever seen and I definitely wanted to spend more time in there.

It was time for me to do my rounds and I set outside my common room with a huff. I was not in the mood tonight and all I wanted to do was curl up with a good book. I made my way down the corridors, barely checking if anyone was lurking in the shadows until a hand grabbed my wrist and pinned me against a wall.

"Miss me?"
