i watched avengers:endgame and HELP IM SO SAD

---

I ran into the forest, hoping that I wasn't too late. I ran where I thought I saw Harry and I seemed to be right as I heard the murmuring of voices. I hid behind a tree, watching my mother stand with that wretched man. I looked to my left and saw Harry on the ground, Narcissa leaning over him. Was he dead?

"No!" I blew my cover as I ran out towards Harry. My grandfather waved his wand and my feet were stuck. "No, please. Let me see him." I tried to keep the tears in. Don't show weakness.

"He's dead." Narcissa looked back up at us, giving me a sympathetic look. My heart sunk. I was too late. Too caught up in myself.

"Well, dear," Voldemort started, "I can give you two options now." I wiped my eyes and looked at him as he removed the spell from my feet. I was itching to run to Harry, but I knew I couldn't. "You may join your mother and I, we can be a family again," He stiffly grabbed my mother's hand and she shrunk under his touch. She was afraid.

"Or you may choose the Potter boy's side and die. I will kill you right here." His red eyes glared into mine and I gulped. I took in a deep breath.

"I'd rather die than join you." I heard the quiet murmurs and looked as my mother went pale.

"Very well." He was disappointed, but I didn't care. He raised his wand, letting go of my mother's hand.

"Avada Kedavra!" The flash of the green light stunned me, I was going to die. I was going to be with Benji and my father. Death was better than being with Voldemort. But Draco...

"No!" And before I knew it, Mum ran in front of me, shielding her body with the deadly spell. The light hit her body and she fell to the ground lifeless. Dead. The air was sucked out of my lungs. Narcissa's hands flew over her mouth, the tears prominent in her eyes. Her best friend, gone. My mother, gone.

"You monster!" I yelled, getting my wand out. "You need to pay for what you've done. That was my mother, your daughter. Do you not care at all?" My voice was shaking, and my eyes were blurry. It wasn't fair.

"I have better things to care about, you ungrateful child. That should have been you, not your mother. You caused her death." And he was off, Harry gone with him. Narcissa ran over to me and embraced me in a tight hug.

"Go find Draco. Take care of him, he'll take care of you." She whispered into my ear. I nodded and took one last glance at my mother.

"I love you, Mum."

---

I ran back to the castle, wiping my tears, looking for the blonde boy that I loved. And then I found him. He turned to my direction as he heard my footsteps and grabbed me in an embrace.

"I was so worried about you." He gently kissed my lips and rested his chin on my head.

"Drac-o," my voice broke. "Harry's dead, my mother's dead, everyone's gone." I broke out into sobs and buried my face into his chest. He stroked my hair and sighed in defeat.

"It'll be okay. We'll win and we'll get our happy ending. We deserve it." I sniffled and looked up into his eyes. Our lips met each other in a desperate kiss and I never wanted it to end. It was him and I now. And Teddy of course. We'll be a family and everything will be okay.

"Harry Potter is dead!" My head snapped towards the voice and I narrowed my eyes as I dragged Draco to the front of Hogwarts. We stood in the crowd of students, watching as the man I detested bragged. My heart hurt as I saw Harry's limp body in Hagrid's arms. It must have been so hard for him to carry the boy he has taken care of for so many years.

I zoned out as my grandfather spoke. His voice irritating me. I leaned into Draco's chest, until I felt him stirring next to me. He wiggled himself out of my grasp and began walking to the other side.

"Draco?" His head turned around to see me.

"I have to." His voice was pained and I watched as he made his way over to his parents. I felt alone. I had no one left. Until I watched as Harry jumped out of Hagrid's arms. I must be hallucinating. Neville cut the head off Nagini and I watched in horror as numerous events and deaths unfolded before me.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Expelliarmus!"

The lights flashed between my eyes and I watched us Harry and Voldemort's wands battled. And then it was over. Voldemort's figure fell to the ground and I jumped into Harry's arms.

"You did it!" I cried. "You actually did it."

the next chapter will most probably be the epilogue ):

it makes me so sad because of how far i have come with this book. the first chapter ever of Malfoy's Maid was originally a oneshot and now it's a book, complete with a sequel. i hope you have all enjoyed the books, thank you so much for 99k reads. you all mean a lot to me and i hope you stay tuned for any more books i put out.

i'm currently working on a dark, horror one, with the main character and a serial killer. some dark love and dark themes.

thank you all! the epilogue will also include a nice, steamy scene between reader and Draco (:
