A/N: I just wanna say, right now, that I have no clue about anything in this chapter. It literally took me two weeks to write the darn thing because I was so confuzzled. I watched and rewatched the last few episodes, trying to figure out what was going on, but I ain't that smart.

That's what's going on inside my brain while I'm writing this. Anyways, enjoy. Or try to, at least.

By the time Sarah made it to the Paladin's hangar, where they kept the lions, Hunk was already there, adjusting his space suit. His helmet sat on the floor near his feet, and when he bent down to pick it up, Sarah called to him. "Hey Hunk! Where are Coran and Romelle?"

"Oh!" Helmet in hand, Hunk shot up to stand straight again. "Oh, hey Sarah! Yeah, I don't - I don't know where they are. They should be here soon."

Sarah nodded, and stopped a few feet in front of him. She breathed deeply and ran her hands through her hair, making it fluffier than it was before. "I thought I'd be the last one here."

"Coran just went to find something."

"What is it?"

Hunk just smiled and raised his eyebrows. "You'll see," he said slyly.

Giving him a look, her brown eyes narrow, Sarah began to think of all the things Coran could possibly be bringing. Perhaps it was food, one of the Alteans, or some sort of instrument that should help them find the size of crystal Coran was going to be looking for.

While they waited, it occurred to Sarah that she and Hunk hadn't been alone together in a long while. The last time she remembered that was the last time they interacted with the Balmera and she began to ship Hunk and Shay. With that in mind, Sarah turned to face him and crossed her arms over her stomach. "So... how big of a crystal do you think we're gonna be looking for?" she asked. "Coran needs one to power the weapons upgrades, right?"

"Uhh yeah, I think so. Yeah."

Sarah nodded and looked at the ground. Not knowing what else to say, she pressed her lips tightly together and kicked at the ground with the toe of her boots.

"So..." Hunk cleared his throat and looked everywhere except at Sarah. "You and Keith, huh?"

Sarah nodded and watched him carefully. "Yeah... what about it?"

Hunk shrugged and held his helmet in both of his hands. While pretending to examine it for scratches, he said, "Just... for a while there it seemed like your relationship was developing at the same rate it did the first time. Are you, uh... are you planning on - on getting married still?"

Okay. That was not what Sarah expected him to say. Heart fluttering, she nodded. "Yep. Yes we are. I mean, he hasn't officially proposed or anything, but we've talked about it."

"You guys are still pretty young."

"Yeah... I guess we are." Sarah shrugged. "But so were my parents. Actually, they were 18 when they got married." She remembered her parents telling her their story. They, like she and Keith, had been friends since they were younger. Their senior year of high school they started dating, and got engaged and married a few months after they graduated. Her parents were loving and kind, and their relationship was strong. She had no doubts that, had they survived, they would have remained together until death. "And I'm 19. Keith is 21, technically, because of the quantum abyss, but he was born in the same year as me... he's just a few months older than me. But anyways, I don't think age really matters. The time is just right, I know it." She and Keith had spent so much time waiting and comforting. They'd argued, compromised, worked together... it seemed like they'd overcome every obstacle together. Sarah had no doubts that Keith was her person because, when she lost her memories, Keith was completely willing to give her time and to start over. He showed that by taking her on another first date. "I love him more than anything. I look at him and I'm kinda... overwhelmed by the love I feel. It's like a rush of warmth in my chest. I dunno, it's kinda hard to explain." She cleared her throat to stop herself from going on and on. "And there's never a doubt in my mind that he loves me."
