Adam's POV:

It was finally time to put my feet up. Elsie was in bed with my phone on FaceTime with Sophia and I was just watching some tv.

I'd put Elsie to bed over an our ago but then at nine o'clock, here she comes with her unicorn teddy, saying she can't sleep. I tried everything, including cuddling her to sleep but in the end I caved and let her speak to Sophia over FaceTime. We'd shown Elsie how to do it on my phone earlier on today and she was better at it than me.

Sophia had taken Elsie for a 'girls shopping trip' as she called it. They went to a department store not too far away and Sophia spent a couple of hundred pounds on a whole new wardrobe for Elsie. I'd complain but even I could see that Elsie's clothes weren't really fitting anymore, I just didn't have the time to take her shopping. What a shit excuse! I'm her guardian, I have to do better!

Sophia and Elsie had a fashion show in the living room when she brought her home. It was something to see that's for sure. I'd never thought a four year old would want to try on that many clothes.

Sophia had covered everything from dresses, tops, trousers, skirts, underwear, coats, everything. She even bought her a pink duvet set and a canopy to go up in her room. It really was incredible how much they were in tune with each other.

Sophia took all of the clothes and the duvet set home to wash and iron for me. I practically begged her to let me do it but she refused saying that I wouldn't do it properly and the clothes were too nice to be ruined. She wasn't wrong but, still, she's already done so much for us.

I still remember her embarrassment at showing me her car. There was nothing wrong with it really, it was just old. She had a little fiesta that was about nine years old but she kept it in immaculate condition. There wasn't a single crumb in that car. I was just glad it had five doors so I could get the seat in easily.

I wait another ten minutes and then when the clock hits half nine, I decide I better go and get my phone back in case Elsie's doing something she shouldn't be on there.

When I get to her door it's silent. I hear a cough but it doesn't sound like Elsie's. Flinging open the door, I scan the room quickly but there's no one here except for her tiny little body in her massive bed.

I can see the glow of a light and that's when I realise the cough came from my phone. She was still on FaceTime with Sophia.

Curiosity overtook my body as I picked up the phone carefully and crept out of the room, making my way back downstairs. When I finally look at the screen I'm faced with a picture of Sophia in her kitchen.

That's when my face became a little hotter and I needed to adjust my jogging bottoms a little. She was making herself a cup of tea and she'd propped the phone against something. I could see her whole body. That means I could see the baggy off the shoulder top and little shorts she was sporting. It didn't escape my notice that the top showed she wasn't wearing a bra, again.

What was it with her and bras? It's like she took a blatant dislike to them. I'm not complaining. I think that bras can be sexy as hell but nothing's sexier than knowing she's braless.

I clear my throat and call out to her quietly, trying my best not to scare her.

"Err...Sophia?"

She turns her body with her mug in hand and when her eyes lock with mine, she sends the mug flying to the floor. Shit!

"Oh my God! What the hell Adam?" She bends instantly the clean up the mess off the floor.

"I'm sorry. I tried to say it quietly to not scare you. I know you scare easily." It's so hard to not laugh at her right now.
