As expected hindi siya nag reply. It's Kisses, bakit ba? But honestly, I feel relieved now that I have confessed what I'm feeling. I didn't expect I have this inside of me.
When I got home, messages from that group chat they created for me and Kisses overflowed. All were asking me how it went between me and Kisses, still, I'm keeping it lowkey and private. As much as possible, kahit gusto kong ipagsigawan that I like Kisses, I want us to have that privacy na kami lang yung may alam ng kung anong nangyayari sa amin at nang kung anong meron kami.
Instead of replying to them, I sent Kisses a message.
Donny: Are you going to sleep already?
It took her good ten minutes to reply. I was already laying down on my bed hugging my pillow when I got a text from her.
Kisses: Gusto ko na sana.
Donny: Oh, matulog ka na, Cookies.
Kisses: Can't sleep, Nonny.
She replied with matching crying emojis. And take note of the Nonny.
Donny: Nonny?
Kisses: (grinning) Sorry, Donny pala.
Donny: Nonny's cute. If that's what you want to call me.
Bago paman siya mag reply, I texted her again.
Donny: Matulog ka na.
Kisses: Can't sleep ngaaa.
Donny: Bakit? It's already 11PM, Kisses.
Kisses: Nakakaiyak naman, hindi nga ako makatulog. Kanina pa nga ako paibaiba ng sleeping position pero wala parin.
Donny: Hmmm. Can I call you?
Kisses: Hmmmm.
Donny: Video chat?
Kisses: Hmmmmm......

I answered Donny's call. I was a bit shy taking the call because he looked so gwapo even after a tiring, crazy day. Wait... yes, gwapo. His hair was messy and his lips are as pouty as it looks like in the morning. I can't help but stare at him.
Donny: Hi!
Bati niya sa akin and smiled.
Kisses: Tumawag ka? Hindi ka rin makatulog?
Donny: I'll answer you but please say Nonny first. I want to hear you say my name in that way.
He asked and then grinned. Again, I rolled my eyes at him and shyly obliged slightly prolonging his name
Kisses: Nonnyyyyy
He grinned again.
Donny: Mapupunit yata labi ko, Cookies. Kinikilig ako eh.
Tapos siya lang din yung natawa sa sinabi niya
Kisses: And you never answered my question.
Donny: Napatawag ako kase....
Kisses: What?
Donny: I miss you.
My room is in a dim light but I am sure that Donny sees me blushing. How can he say those words easily? How did he make my heart beat so fast when all I want is to sleep soundly tonight?
