AN: Hi. I wasn't lost. Thank you to those who kept on reminding me about the story, that they still read it again because it took me so long to post an update. Thank you to the new readers that fires my soul up and tells me that I wrote a good story. So to make the story short on why I wasn't updating, I was reviewing the past weeks for my graduate school studies. I was active on twitter though, but I really would like to pass my comprehensive exam that is why I have put the update on hold. Soooo yes. Hahahaha. I'm back! Your girl is just a step ahead to graduating her grad school! If makapasa! Hahahaha!

Kabanata 35

Storms, they will come but I know that the sun will shine again.

"Mama Kiss," tawag ni Solana kay Kisses while she was busy typing something on her laptop habang nasa family room kami, tumigil siya sa ginagawa niya to face Solana

"Can I go with you tomorrow?" bigla kaming natigilan sa request niya,

"babe, I don't think it's possible kase hindi naman kami nagpe play sa school like you." Pagpapaliwanag ko kay Sola, the little girl easily turned her face into a disappointed expression. Tiningnan ako ni Kisses at sinimangutan lang din ako

"Sola," she calls her in her darling voice, "Me and Kuya is very busy at school. And you, also." She tells her, "Diba you have to go to your class on ballet din?" tanong niya kay Sola kaya tumango lang ang batang maliit sa kanya, "But you know? If me and Papa Don will be home early tomorrow, I can date you! Mag milk tea tayo?" sa hindi pagdadalawang isip ni Solana, agad siyang tumayo at niyakap si Kisses.

That, I didn't understand how she easily got her heart but I love it. My girl then looks at me and smiles.

It's been a week after that misunderstanding that we had. And so far, unti unti din naman naming inaayos yung mga differences at miscommunications namin. We talked about it a lot because we don't want for it to happen again. Nakabuti din na sinabi naming sa family yung problema at natutulungan nila kami. Mommy really loves Kisses so much. The whole family actually. Kaya naman we are so grateful for all the love and support that they are giving us.

Kanina lang, hinatid ko si Kisses sa building nila like the usual. Yun na din yung nakasanayan naming oras kung ano bang mangyayari sa araw namin. What are our individual plans. And usually, she asks me first about it.

"What'll keep you busy today, love?" tanong niya habang naglalakad kami galing carpark papuntang building nila, tiningnan niya ako nang hindi ako agad makasagot, naalala ko yung sinabi niyang she don't want me to make her my world. And I appreciate her for telling me that. Kaya naisip ko yung varsity team. Ilang lingo narin akong kinukulit ng coach nila na sumali, pero tumatanggi parin ako. The other day, nagkasalubong na naman uli kami ni Sir and he bugged me again about it.

Napatingin ako sa tracking field.

"Gusto mong sumali ng varsity?" she asks me,

"Okay lang ba, love?" tanong ko sa kanya, hindi naman siya nagdalawang isip sa pagsagot,

"Of course! You'd do well in there love!" sabi niyang ganun and smiled at me, "Whatever your plans are, I'm always here to support you." Sabi niyang ganun at tumigil sa paglalakad, "Diba sinabi ko sayo? I'd like for the both of us to grow, together?" tumango ako sa sinabi niya at kinuha yung kamay niya,

"I love you, Cookies."

"I miss you, calling me Cookies, Love!" excited niyang sagot

"I love you." Sabi ko ulit, mula nung nag away kami, hindi ko pa ulit siya naririnig na nag I love you sa akin. and I miss her telling me that. Pero hindi ko din naman siya pinipilit na sabihin yun. My I love you's aren't asking for answers. It's meant to be said because it's what I really feel. No action reaction law.
