2 weeks later

"Wow, he can sing too. That guy's really good." Jack whispered as they stood outside the door as they had been for the past 2 weeks.

"I'm pretty sure he wrote that. I've never heard it before." Daniel whispered back. Corbyn had peeked inside the room and when he saw who was sitting at the piano, he smiled.

Look what you made me do,

I'm with somebody new

Oh, baby baby I'm dancing with a stranger.

I'm dancin', I'm dancin'

Dancing with a stranger

I'm dancin', I'm dancin'

Dancing with a stranger

I'm dancin', I'm dancin'

Dancing with a stranger.

The piano stopped along with the singing, and Corbyn took that as his cue to enter.

"Wow, you're really good, Zach!" Corbyn went and sat at the piano with Zach, who was putting his contacts in again.

"I'm not. My voice is really bad." Zach heard a loud huff outside, and the words, "He's not good?! Are you kidding me?"

Zach raised his eyebrows, then got up to open the door.

"No, I'm not." He said, coming face to face with a certain blue-eyed boy he'd seen in his dreams.

"You're Daniel, right? Jonah wouldn't stop talking about how adorable you were." He shook his head, then directed his gaze towards Jack.

Jack, who was staring at him with his mouth wide open.

"Stare any longer and I'll have to charge you," Zach said, the sentence sounding familiar.

"Can't help that you're stunning." Jack immediately replied, the four friends watching their awkward flirting.

"Um....it is Jack, right?" Zach asked, his voice empty as always. Jack just nodded and went inside the room, ignoring the looks Daniel and Corbyn were giving him. Zach just closed the door behind them and shrugged when he saw Jonah raise an eyebrow at him.

"So what are you guys doing here?" Daniel piped up.

"We should be asking you that. We've been coming here everyday since freshman year for me and sophomore year for them." Zach replied. Jack seemed to recoil from how empty Zach's voice sounded, but kept silent.

"Well, since we're new we thought we should come here before lunch ends so we wouldn't be late, because we have been for the past two weeks," Corbyn said. "And then we heard you playing."

"Oh. Sorry you had to hear that." Zach sighed. "I bet any one of you guys could do a lot better." Corbyn violently shook his head, the other four also doing the same.

"Hey, why does everyone call you psycho? Or freak? You seem -" Daniel started, but got cut off from Zach abruptly getting up from the piano stool and walking out of the room, slamming the door shut.

"Did I say something wrong?" Daniel stared at the other four, not knowing why Jonah and Christina were glaring at him and why Corbyn was rolling his eyes. Jack got up from his seat and exited the room.

"Gee, I don't know. Maybe asking someone why people bully him makes them self-conscious? I have nooooo idea." Christina said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Daniel seemed to shrink, and Jonah shot her a look that seemed to tell her that she was making the boy feel even worse.
