So I got everything figured out(I hope), and I think I'll be back to regular updating schedule within a month, so yea :D

Thanks for all the nice comments, I really appreciate it.

Anyway, here's the chapter:

The younger boy had fallen asleep by the time his mom had come home, winking at Jack while he blushed, blood rushing to his cheeks. He gently disentangled himself from Zach and stood up, ready to leave when Zach's mom spoke.

"Who are you?" Her tone was curious.

"Jack Avery."

"And how did you come to be in my house, cuddling my oldest son?" If possible, he blushed even more. When Jack told her, her face seemed to fall.

"So he told you everything?" Jack nodded.

"Mommy!" Reese ran down the stairs and into her mother's arms.

"Yes, Reese?"

"I heard Zachy laughing!" She exclaimed, her eyes going super-wide. Zach's mom looked at Jack and raised an eyebrow before speaking to the little girl.

"Oh, really? I think that's amazing, but you have to go to bed, honey," She gently chided as the girl ran back up the stairs to her room.

"You have some explaining to do, young man," She smiled.

"Does it count if I was tickling him?"

"Well, the fact that you somehow managed to tickle him in the first place is a mystery. He's been like this since he was seven, Jack. It's hard to see his blank face when Reese talks about how happy she is, or when Ryan talks about how annoying his day was at school. I hope you can change that. I don't even know what all the colors mean," She seemed to be lost in her own thoughts as her glance rested on the sleeping boy, her expression wistful.

"You can stay here for the night, if you want."

"Even if I wanted to stay, I don't have any clothes, but I can carry him to his room," Jack offered, Zach's mom nodding her head and smiling. He picked up the younger boy and went up the stairs to his room, setting him down on the bed.

"Stay," Zach mumbled from the bed as Jack was about to leave.

"Okay," He whispered without hesitation, moving to lay beside the boy.

"I'm sorry you had to see that," The younger boy turned to face him, his eyes turning gray.

"I'm glad I did. How else would I be able to tickle you?" Jack whispered, getting a smile in return. "How about we skip school tomorrow?"

"I'm not sure," Zach considered it for a moment.

"C'mon, I'll take you to Disneyland."

"That's a very cliché couple thing," Zach said, but his resolve was slowly breaking. "Okay. Fine, I'll go."

"Okay." Zach could hear the smile in Jack's voice as he softly uttered the word, a grin creeping up onto his own face as he thought about tomorrow.

"Jack?"

"Yes?"

"I'm...kind of glad that - um, that you're - wait, that doesn't sound right...you - oh, I'm not good at this," Zach could feel the blood rushing to his cheeks as he turned around to face the older boy.

"It's alright," Jack chuckled, his eyes twinkling with some kind of emotion.

"It's part of being alexithymic," Zach felt weird inside, like he was kind of bubbly, and he didn't know what it was. "Thank you for - for everything," He blurted out, immediately hiding his face afterwards.
