The loss I felt had me persuaded
Your face never to be seen again
Except in memories I enchain
Watching with your chocolate eyes
Your grin hidden behind an angel disguise
Now it's time to say goodbye
Sadness radiates from teary eyes
Your goodness reflected for all to see
Your friends and family gather to agree
This funeral shows your life so smart
From your birth until your early depart
This cancer selfishly stole your time
Goodbye mum until I die
I'm sad to say this is a true story.
