Goku took one last look before Baba took him to the otherworld. They rose through the yellow clouds and headed for the check-in station. "Woah look at that line!" He said looking down at all the souls waiting. Suddenly Baba stopped and Goku smacked right into her crystal ball. "Ow! Why'd you stop?"
"I'm having second thoughts." She said as she looked down at the souls. "I don't feel comfortable leaving Goten and Trunks by themselves."
"Once they master fusion they should be fine. They also have Mae there to help them." Goku smiled.
"You really think those three can defeat Majin Buu?" Baba asked skeptically.
"Sure!" Goku said confidently as they approached the station.
"Goku are you going to cut the line?" Baba asked him.
"Yep! See ya later!" Goku said waving to her. He ran inside and stood in front of King Yemma.
"Oh hello Goku." King Yemma greeted him.
"Hey has my son Gohan come through here?" Goku asked.
"Hmm I'm not sure. We've been extremely busy but I can check." King Yemma said looking through the many books.
"Yea it's been really hectic on earth. The whole population could end up here but I think Gohan might be able to help." Goku said looking around.
"Hmm, no it looks like Gohan hasn't come through. I think I would have remembered your son passing through." King Yemma said closing a book.
"That's great! That means he isn't dead!" Goku said excitedly.
"There was one fellow you should know. A man named Dabura came through and gave us some trouble." King Yemma explained. "He was slated to go to hell but I thought he would like that too much so I gave him the approval for heaven."
"Oh I see. Well you do know what's best!" Goku said cheerfully as he ran passed. He flew up over the yellow clouds. "Gohan is alive! Mae and Videl were right. I wonder why I couldn't feel his energy." He paused suddenly feeling Gohan's energy. "That's definitely him. Why is he here though. Well I guess I better go find out." He placed his fingers to his forehead, using his instant transmission to get to his son.
Gohan was continuing his training with the Z sword. He was able to hold the legendary weapon much better and even though its weight was still immense he was starting to get used to it. He swung it around and suddenly Goku appeared from nowhere. "What the hell?!" Gohan said as he narrowly sliced Goku.
"Ahh!" Goku said ducking down, luckily only a few hairs were cut.
"What are you doing here?!" Gohan asked.
"Trying not to get my head chopped off!" Goku snapped back.
"I don't understand how he is here!" Kibito said. Both he and the supreme Kai were shocked at his arrival.
"I mean what are you doing here. 24 hours isn't up yet." Gohan said bringing the sword down to his side.
Goku proceeded to tell them everything that happened while he was on earth. "So that's why I'm back early."
"I see." Gohan said. "So Mae is okay?"
"Yea she's fine. She's just upset about you and Vegeta. She's training to use super saiyan three and the boys will learn fusion too." Goku explained. "Can I see that sword?"
"Yea sure." Gohan said handing it over.
"Woah it is heavy!" Goku said as he struggled to swing it. "What you gotta do is put your body into it." He said lifting the sword up.
