Dragonball Mae: The Early Years

Super Saiyan Blue

Mae coughed blood as she struggled to get up. "Here,        have a senzu bean," Krillin said putting one in her mouth. "We only have one left," Krillin said as she swallowed the bean.

"Thanks, Krillin," Mae said standing back up.

"What are you doing here Frieza?" Goku asked stepping in front of Mae. He pushed her gently towards Gohan and Piccolo.

"I'm here to get revenge of course," Frieza clicked his tongue. "You see I spent what seemed like eons in Earth's hell, surrounded by cute stuffed animals and fairies singing songs. It was endless torture! I want to make you suffer the same way I did."

"Hmph, you deserved everything you got," Goku shrugged. "Your final form seems impressive but I've gotten stronger too."

"I expected you would," Frieza glared. "Well aren't you going to use that super saiyan form I hate so much?"

"I don't think I need it," Goku smirked.

"Seems your halfbreed welp inherited your arrogance," Frieza smacked his tail on the ground. "Alright monkey, I suppose the black Goku pelt will look equally fine on my wall."

Goku launched forward and he and Frieza took off into the air. Mae watched intently as Goku blocked every punch Frieza threw. She gritted her teeth in frustration that he had become even stronger while training with Whis. The gap kept widening and it infuriated her while also motivating her.

Frieza sent energy blasts and as Goku dodged them they soared down towards Vegeta and the others. Mae jumped up and sent blasts to stop them. She missed one and Vegeta took care of it. He cocked his head at her as if to say, 'try better.' She crossed her arms and looked back up to the sky. Goku hadn't taken any damage from Frieza so far.

"Damn you!" Frieza yelled forming a huge purple ball of energy.

"Ka-me-ha-me-ha!" Goku yelled. His energy cut straight through Frieza's.

Frieza floated there his rage overflowing, 'how could this monkey gotten this strong?!'

Suddenly Vegeta flew up and punched Goku in the face. "What the hell Vegeta?!" Goku asked as he began dodging more blows.

"You said we would take turns!" Vegeta said blocking a kick. "I want my turn, Kakarot!"

"Come on Vegeta!" Goku protested.

'Seems even now Vegeta knows who holds the leash,' Frieza thought. "Vegeta, I want to be the one to crush Goku."

"Just a little while longer. Then I promise you can have your turn." Goku swore. Vegeta thought for a moment before begrudgingly agreeing.

"I admit, you are stronger than I anticipated," Frieza said.

"Likewise, but you are still holding something back aren't you?" Goku asked.

"Hmm, yes I have. So have you, I'm sure you have something hidden away," Frieza narrowed his eyes at Goku.

They both dropped down to the cliff side. Goku began to power up. His power increased until Mae could no longer feel him. "Divine energy?!" She gasped.

Instead of the red glow his aura was blue, his hair stood up like super saiyan and was the same shade. "What is this? Super saiyan with blue hair dye?" Frieza asked unimpressed.

"It's a little more complicated than that," Goku snorted. "I tasted something called super saiyan god, this is one step above that. To keep it simple let's just call this Super Saiyan Blue."
