Finishing Blow

Frieza laughed as Goku dropped to the ground. "Excellent work Sorbet! Did you really think I would come here without assurance?" He kicked Goku over onto his back and in the ribs. "You should have finished me off when you had the chance!"

"I figured this would happen," Whis shook his head.

"Damn it," Mae swore under her breath. "How could he have dropped his guard?"

"Are you really one to talk?" Vegeta glanced at her.

"Shut up," Mae shook her head.

"Oh Vegeta!" Frieza called as he kicked Goku again. "Why don't I let you finish him off."

"Oh?" Vegeta flew over and landed in front of Goku and Frieza.

"I'm sure you hate him even more than I do," Frieza flicked his tail. "Kill Goku and join me."

"No thanks, as much as I don't like Kakarot it's our rivalry that pushes me higher," Vegeta said after a moment.

"Why don't I sweeten the deal then," Frieza said. "Kill him and I'll let you bring your little halfbreed pet and I'll make you supreme commander of my army. Right now it's just Sorbet but we will regrow."

"Damn, well now I might regret this," Vegeta shook his head. "I want to destroy you. You destroyed the planet I was supposed to rule."

"I guess I'll have to kill you as well," Frieza said disappointed.

"Krillin! Get over here and give Kakarot a senzu bean," Vegeta shouted.

"I don't think so!" Frieza sent an energy beam as Krillin flew over.

Vegeta appeared in front of the beam and knocked it away to where Sorbet was standing, killing him. Krillin flew over and gave Goku the senzu bean healing him instantly. He quickly jumped up and gave a thanks to Krillin and Vegeta before flying to where Mae was standing.

"So super saiyan blue?" Mae asked crossing her arms.

"Yep! I'm sure you can learn it too," Goku said too enthusiastically.

"That's what Vegeta said," Mae said flicking her eyes to him. "I'm going to learn it. One way or another I will surpass you."

"I'm sure one day you will," Goku smirked. Mae huffed and turned her attention back to Frieza and Vegeta.

"What can you do Vegeta?" Frieza almost laughed.

"You think Kakarot is the only one who grew stronger?" Vegeta glared. "I too have the power of a god." He powered up to super saiyan blue causing Frieza to take a step back.

"How is this happening?!" Frieza yelled as he went to attack. Vegeta grabbed his fist and punched him in the stomach. Frieza hit the wall and lost his golden form.

"I've been a super saiyan for years Frieza," Vegeta said walking towards him. "I'm going to send you back to your garden. Unlike Kakarot I'm not one to give people second chances."

"Damn it all!" Frieza yelled as Vegeta held his hand out ready to end his life. "If I have to die I'm taking you all with me!" He sent energy through the earth starting a chain reaction.

"Vegeta!" Mae yelled as lava began to erupt from the planet.

Whis put up a barrier around them and Goku grabbed Mae bringing them both to safety before the Earth exploded. Rocks shot around them and Mae dropped to her knees. She lost Vegeta again. Gohan put his hands on her shoulders trying to comfort her.

"He could have died with honor instead he had to take the whole planet with him," Goku shook his head in anger.

"I doubt he's dead," Whis said. "His species can survive in a vacuum."

"In fact it was a smart move," Beerus tapped his chin.

Mae gave Beerus a glare that made Gohan flinch. "That bastard is gonna pay." She said through her teeth. The anger and rage coming off her made Gohan take a step back.

"I failed. This is my fault," Goku looked down. "I should have ended it when I could have. Damn it all."

"Excellent now that you have admitted where you went wrong we can try this again!" Whis clapped his hands together.

"What do you mean? The earth is gone!" Mae jumped up turning her anger to Whis.

"Goku, don't you remember?" Whis asked giving Mae a knowing grin.

"That's right! Your reverse thingy!" Goku's expression changed.

"That's right. I can turn back time up to three minutes." Whis explained. "Now Goku, are you ready to deal the finishing blow?"

"Yes. Frieza won't get away with this." Goku narrowed his eyes.

Mae blinked rapidly while wiping her tears. Whis tapped his staff twice and time began to reverse. The Earth was being put back together. Before they knew it they were seeing the scene where Vegeta went to end Frieza again. Goku didn't hesitate to power up to super saiyan blue.

"Frieza!" He yelled as he charged a Kamehameha. Vegeta saw the energy and moved out of the way. "HA!" Goku yelled and Frieza took a direct hit. He was weakened and he couldn't dodge it. This would be the blow to end his life.

Frieza opened his eyes to find he was back in hell. Fairies and teddy bears singing him songs. They all welcomed him back and Frieza cursed the saiyans who brought him back here. "That damn halfbreed made me waste energy. If she had just died earlier I would have been able to end Goku and Vegeta." He swore as he tried to block out the music.

"What the hell Kakarot?!" Vegeta stomped up. "It was my turn!"

"Don't you remember? Frieza blew up the world!" Goku explained.

"Oh yea sure he did," Vegeta rolled his eyes. "You just wanted to finish it."

"Vegeta!" Mae yelled as she ran up and hugged him. They both fell to the ground from her momentum.

"What's with you?!" Vegeta yelled in confusion. "Get off me!"

"You damn idiot!" Mae yelled at him. "Frieza killed you and everyone else. Whis fixed it."

"Oh," Vegeta turned his head. "Well Kakarot didn't need to butt in."

"You idiot." Mae laughed as she got up. "So super saiyan blue?"

"Yep," Vegeta said dusting himself off.

"Teach me." Mae said eyes filled with determination.

"Think you can handle it?" Vegeta asked.

"Of course." Mae snapped.

"Hmm you will have to train with Whis," Vegeta shrugged.

"I can handle it!" Mae said pushing harder for him to agree.

"We'll see." Vegeta smirked turning away from her.

Mae grinned ready for the next adventure waiting for her. She was going to do whatever she could to prove to him that she was ready for divine power. Nothing was going to hold her back from surpassing not only Goku but Vegeta as well.
