Crystal played with the balls of chromium in her hands as she waited for the exam to start. She was nervous. So nervous. She worked hard for this. She trained three hours a day, and somehow found some time to study. If she messes this up-
The people around her had already begun to rush into the battle district. She must've not heard the gun or whatever alerted them to go.
She sprinted in and was greeted by these green robots. Instantly, her anxiety disappeared. It just felt like another day of training.
She levitated the chromium balls above her hand and shaped them into arrowhead shapes. She walked around until a large number of robots were aligned in her sight then aimed. She squinted, trying to be as accurate as possible.
She sent the chromium straight through at least eight five meter tall robots. The people who were attacking them didn't seem to notice the little pieces of metal penetrating their targets.
They just stood there looking smug. Crystal cringed.
She stripped off her tank top, revealing a sports bra that exposed her backbones. She spread her wide white wings and flew up, taking a good look at places where there were heavy concentrations of manageable robots.
She swooped down and landed at the alley nearby the mass of robots, sheathing her wings. She summoned the chromium and shot them through the robots in lines, each piece with their own line of robots to disable.
At that point, she already disabled twenty two-pointers. She returned the chromium into it's original form and pocketed it.
She soared up once again and tried to search for one of those three-pointers. She hasn't fought one yet. It did look a tad bit intimidating. She would need more metal for this but she didn't bring enough.
She liquified the chromium her metal pendant. Still not enough. She could conjure some metal out of the ground but she wouldn't be able to take much, considering the levl of control she was in. The last time she did it, she went into one of her deep sleeps and didn't wake up for the next three days.
She perched herself on a building near the closest three-pointer and observed. There were these little creases which she could slip her metal into. With that, she could destroy it from the inside out.
She didn't need that much more metal but the metal she had at hand was too little to take down such a large machine before the machine killed her first.
She landed in the nearest alleyway and placed both palms on the rubble, sensing any metal and forcefully conjuring it up. This put some mental strain on her and she could feel herself start to blank out.
She didn't have much time. Her quirks were getting to her. Slowly, a mass of brown, raw metal formed gathred in front of her. It was sufficient.
She popped her head out to catch a glimpse of the three-pointer before sending them to the robot from different parts. She made the metal crush down the wires and block some chambers.
Before the robot could respond, it blew up.
Crystal sent all of the remaining metal she had into her pocket. As quickly as she could, she groggily flew into the highest building there and turned all the metal she had into arrowheads shapes and sent them in lines through different two pointers, cleaning roads of their presence.
Before she noticed, she was already seeing black rings at the bottom of her vision and eventually, she passed out.
