"Crystal! Align yourself with Lida. That way Todoroki can't attack us without attacking him."

Crystal nodded in agreement. She moved as instructed, and Todoroki did refrain from attacking, as predicted.

They had to attack or run. Anything to keep their band s-

"Reciproburst!" Lida's engine worked faster than Crystal had ever seen. They brushed by Crystal team at full speed, so fast Crystal didn't even register it until a few seconds after he did so.

They took her band. All their points, gone. They wouldn't make it to the finals with this. The group froze for a while, processing the loss of their points, before emerging into a discussion about what to do next.

Todoroki's teams at the top. Crystal's group was nowhere near the top. They  needed points. "This is our last chance, we'll get it, Crystal, we will get it!"

"Get the one on the top," Midoriya whispered.

"Got it!" Crystal replied.

"Few seconds left!" Present Mic warned.

Crystal's group got ready, Ochaco making everyone lighter, Tokoyami more than ready to defend and Midoriya's legs pulsing with red veins, waiting to jump.

Midoriya jumped at Todoroki's group with all his strength.

Crystal didn't care if she was looked at as a monster. She just wanted to win. To make it to the finals. She'd prove all those who despised her wrong, prove her worth to herself.

Crystal shifted into her true form, crystallizing herself. Todoroki gripped her left forearm when he could, trying to immobilize her, injuring her with his fire quirk, only to freeze in shock of the appearance of her crystal quirk.

She quickly snatched the band, holding it in her hand. "Let's go!"

Her group made a distance from Todoroki's."I have it!"

The audience howled in response. People stood in approval and yelled in support.

As she was about to tie the band around her head, she noticed it wasn't their band. It was a seventy point band. They were still fifth. They wouldn't make it with this.

"It's the wrong band! We gotta go again!" Crystal ushered in panic.

"Ten seconds left! Start the countdown!" The announcer began.

Within those ten seconds, Bakugo and his team entered the scene, Denki tried to retrieve their band, only to get stalled by Tokoyami. Denki had reached his limit, going into a state of utter stupidity. Todoroki froze a metal rod from Momo, getting ready to fight whoever got in his way, Crystal broke free from her group to defend and attack, whatever to keep the band safe.

She flew up into the sky, ready steal Bakugo's points.

She swooped down, reaching for any point band.

"That's the end of the second round! The cavalry battle!" He just had to end it then.

Aizawa-sensei put his quirk to use. Bakugo who was exploding his way up to Crystal landed head first on the floor, Crystal who wasn't too far above him landing on his back with a thump, Todoroki falling sideways off his group.

Crystal got up, ignoring Bakugo and the profanities he was yelling to her, and made her way to her group, looking down. "Sorry I couldn't get enough points for our group."

"Actually, I sneaked one out," Tokoyami said, holding out a 651 point band.

Crystal's eyes twinkled. "You did?!" She squealed in delight.

Tokoyami nodded.

Crystal jumped on him, wrapping her arms around him. "Thank you so much," she whispered into his ear.

"Crystal! Get your little ass here!"
