Crystal looked down at the injured blonde sleeping on her chest. "I'm sorry..."
She thought she gained at least some control of it. But it was controlling her, and now she'd beaten Bakugo half-dead.
She gently laid him on the ground. She peeled off his shirt as gently as possible, cringing at the bruises and gashes she'd created on his body.
Her attention was pulled to a nasty gash striking diagonally up his abdomen. He was bleeding. Badly.
She needed to treat him right away. Yet all she could do was tear off the fabric of her shirt to tie up some pressure on his wound. She held his body to hers, trying to keep it together as she spread her wings. They were only feet off when Crystal felt an overwhelming amount of disorientation.
As gently as she could, in her scrambled state of mind, she laid him on the grass. She felt warm bitter blood climb up her throat.
She turned her head away from Bakugo and coughed out a huge splotch of golden blood. Crystal wiped the remains off her lips, determined to get Bakugo back to his place.
Once again, she was feet off the ground, disoriented, but she pulled and pulled and they were on their way.
Her stomach was all over the place as they flew. Her brain was throbbing, and her vision was doubling.
She almost crashed the window as she tossed his body in. Her sense of panic overcame her disorientation.
She dragged him to his shower, very carefully rinsing and cleaning his wounds. Then she delicately wove his skin together with a metal thread. After having to do it for herself countless times, it was almost a habit.
Crystal heaved his arm over her shoulder so she could drag him for bandaging. She could sense the stitches tugging, so she slowed down a bit.
She was trying to drag him to his bed when he squeezed her arm reassuringly. "Bakugo?"
His eyes were half-open as she sat him down on his bed. She sat down beside him, taking his hand in hers. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah...Are you okay?"
"You should really be caring about yourself. Where are the bandages?"
He pointed weakly at a drawer. Crystal rummaged through the cabinet for a while before she got it.
She tried to touch Bakugo as gently as possible, given that there were bruises all over his body. But with Bakugo's broad back it was almost impossible. She wrapped the gauze three or four times before she sealed it down.
"You look awful." He commented out of the blue.
"Thanks for the FYI?"
"Your body is burned all over and your shirt isn't even a shirt anymore."
"They'll heal by tomorrow."
"You're covered in mud and blood."
"Your blood."
"Take a shower. You're fucking up my room."
"I don't have any clothes to wear. Or any underwear."
"Use mine."
More than Crystal was embarrassed, she was confused. "You want me to wear your boxers?"
