It's been a week since the entrance exam and she has yet to receive anything from UA.
She was starting to doubt if she passed at all. She stared at the half-eaten pudding in her hand and set it aside, losing her appetite.
Ice cream. She needed ice cream. She needed to pull herself out of the dumps.
Just as she was about to open the door, her maid, Rosè opened it instead. A huge smile was spread across her face.
She revealed her hands from behind her back and held it in front of Crystal. It was an envelope with UA's seal on it. "I hope you pass, Crystal."
She carefully snatched it from her hands and as delicately as possible tried to unopen it. Instead, the letter tore in half, a small circular chip popped out. Crystal kneeled down to get it, and once she did, a hologram appeared.
"Congrats, young lady! You, amongst the hundreds who tried out for UA, have passed. We look forward to your attendance, future hero." All Might grinned.
Crystal took a moment to process it then looked sideways to her maid, a smile slowly making it's way up her face. She pounced on her maid, laughing to the point that her stomach hurt. "I passed! I can't believe it!"
Rosé, as calm as always, smiled. She patted Crystal's back. "I'm making creme caramel to celebrate. Congrats on your acceptance, Crystal."
Crystal followed Rosé out the door and slipped on a tank top and some shorts to go with the summer heat.
She walked to the nearest convenience store and bought a bunch of popsicles. She sucked on a melon popsicle indulgently, licking her worries away.
She found herself colliding with a huge wall of muscle, her popsicle now either on his shirt or on the dirty floor. She gasped, the popsicle she paid for, dead. She looked up and glared at the angry looking blonde. "My popsicle," she hissed under her breath.
"You wanna die?!?!" Aggressive much?
"Sorry," she stuttered, walking away to save herself any further trouble,
She couldn't help but mutter. "It was kind of your fault too you know."
She thought he was far enough for him no to hear her but no. A large hand gripped her shoulder. "You're asking for death."
He sent a punch aimed at her face but stopped in mid-air. She crystallized herself, bracing for impact. He looked amused. "Uh-uh-imsorrygoodbye." She bowed politely and sprinted to her house.
Training never failed to get things off her mind. She climbed up the fifth floor of the house, a quirk training ground which was exclusively for her.
She thought back to earlier that day. That blonde guy who she never wanted to see again. Is that just how he sounds and looks or was he angry?
She finished her eighth kilometer on the treadmill, thinking of that guy. That undeniably handsome blonde. That was until he opened his mouth. What a waste of a good face.
