Crystal looked at the mirror. Her mid-thigh skirt was completely straight, her white shirt tucked in. She put on some lip balm and tied her shiny, metal-like silver hair into a high-tie. Her tie, as always, looked weirder than normal ones, despite how weird ties already look.
She stared into her own silver irises, and her pale skin so thin, if you look hard enough, you would see the veins in some parts of her face. She hated that about herself.
She checked the clock and figured if she didn't leave then, she'd probably be late on the first day.
She ran to the gates where the car was stationed, passing by the kitchen to stuff some toast In her mouth like some anime girl on the way, and finally was on her way to school.
After a ten minute ride, she hopped out of the door. She searched around the building for 1-A until it was a minute to homeroom and just thirty seconds before homeroom, she found 1-A.
She walked to the nearest window seat, ready to rest after running around the school a few times.
She turned around, hoping to catch a glimpse of whoever she'd be sitting in front of for the next year. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of sitting in front of the blonde guy who she specifically hoped not to meet again.
She swerved her head to where the teacher's table was, pretending she just didn't see this..short tempered guy.
"Hey. Crystal girl," he said gruffly, kicking the chair of her leg.
She turned around and plastered a polite smile on her face. "Yes?"
"Huh. You're the girl who fucking dirtied my shirt and left."
"Yes. I am. I'll pay for the laundry if I have to." She tried to conceal the shame on her face. She was hoping he wouldn't he wouldn't recognize her.
"No. Let's fight. I wanna see how my quirk will deal with your crystal quirk...."
"It's Crystal."
"I know your"
"Yeah."
"Let's go at it." She's never used her quirks on a human and it did seem somewhat fun.
"Maybe later?"
"NO! Now."
"Not now, please?"
"NOW MEANS NOW!" He shouted. The whole class turned. She didn't want to be known as "the girl who got into a fight on the first day"
"Alright alright! Walk me home and we'll fight each other. Ok? That's the best you'll get." She whispered.
"Good enough," a satisfied grin was on his face.
A moment later, this teacher who introduced himself as "Aizawa-sensei", led us to this huge, grassy field.
The students of 1-A were neatly lined up, waiting for their turns at the apprehension test. Different people had different quirks which did or did not help in increasing the length a ball would be thrown. This made no sense to Crystal.
When her turn came, she threw the ball a mere seven meters. She didn't understand how to incorporate her quirk into the test. Well, she could fly with the ball in hand but that was probably cheating.
The school seemed so mundane to be the top hero school where they were. Maybe it was just her. Nothing eventful enough to make her remember. Well, it was only her first day, maybe the schools better than it seems.
