"WHY ARE YOU GRINNING LIKE THAT?!?!"

Bakugo stood over Crystal, his smirk fading into the usual aggressive expression he always had. "I'm not grinning."

"ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR?!?!"

She started to giggle, confusing Bakugo. It was the usual Bakugo. She just laid there on the floor giggling for who knows what. But after a while, a hint of a smile crept up his face.

Shocked at the sight of something Crystal didn't know Bakugo was capable of, she pulled herself up and inspected his face.

As she did so, her face got closer to his. Before she could get any closer, Bakugo shoved her face back with the palm of his hand.

"Round two," he suggested.

"Alright," she crystalized herself, going for a hand to hand combat approach. Her battle instincts took over her body, instructing her.

After four more duels, Crystal started to win. Her winning point was her stamina. She honed it the best she could in attempts to increase the limits of her quirks.

Nevertheless, she was drained. Bakugo, even though he lost the last eight duels, which lasted about a minute each, managed to suck her dry of energy.

"Let's stop here today. Any more and the backlash will take over," she panted.

Bakugo laid flat on the floor, his soaked shirt off. Meanwhile, Crystal tried not to pay attention to his undeniably attractive abs and back.

They took a few moments to drink and rest. She opened her phone, curious as to how long they've been in combat. Seven-thirty PM. Wide-eyed she dashed to Bakugo and forced him up. "GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME!!!"

"NOT UNTIL YOU LEAVE! LEAVE ANY LATER AND MY FATHER WILL GIVE YOU ONE OF HIS "Stay away from my smol daughter" TALKS. RUN WHILE YOU CAN."

Bakugo's face finally peeled away from the floor. He groggily slipped on his clothes and retrieved his belongings. She rushed him down the door and out of the house. Bakugo, on the other hand, looked like he was ready to kill. He wasn't the type that liked being instructed.

No longer than a dozen minutes later, her father walked in. Upon his entrance, she rushed to her room, sparing herself the award tension that hung in the air whenever they spoke. This was the norm, at least to her.

"Another special test?" Mina asked.

It seemed like they'd be going somewhere for rescue training. As usual, Crystal didn't pay attention in class. She just studied at the last minute whenever there were any tests.

She just followed the flow. Everyone was getting their hero costumes, so she did the same.

She followed 1-A to a boarding bus, where people actively threw insulting facts about Bakugo at his face.

The bus took them to a high dome, occupied with different terrains. The dome seemed to be managed by the pro-hero, thirteen.

Eventually, it was Aizawa sensei's turn to speak. Only he didn't get a chance to. As Aizawa-sensei was about to explain, he stiffened.

Behind him, a bunch of what seemed to be phony villains emerged from a warp of sorts. But something was off. He put on his goggles and made a defensive stance.

"These are real villains."
