The rest of the trials were the same all over and over again. All except when Bakugo and Tenya went against Ochaco and Deku. It was one of the few matches that caught her eye. Almost everyone, with the exception of a few, as a matter of fact, expected Bakugo's team to win. Somehow, Deku's team did.

Bakugo looked pissed, even more than he always was. But behind that, Crystal saw a hint of..hurt.

Once she had the opportunity to, she approached Bakugo, feeling the need to comfort him. Instead, he was in the entrance of the school, where Deku was engaging in a one-sided conversation with him. Crystal hid behind the pillar, feeling as if she was intruding.

Crystal didn't hear much, she just heard "borrowed power".

The next thing she knew, Bakugo, Katsuki Bakugo was crying. She tried for the second time to properly approach him when All might, out of nowhere, just appeared behind Bakugo and gave him a brief pep talk that Bakugo clearly didn't make sense of.

This time, when Bakugo was a considerable distance from All Might, she seized the opportunity to approach him. "Hey, are you alright?" Crystal placed a hand on his back.

He shrugged it off. "Hey, don't be so moody..."

Her Chauffeur was already waiting for her, opening the door for her. Crystal mouthed, "Wait a minute."

He gave her an approving nod. "You wanna get Pizza again? I'll pay."

She walked with him. "Burgers? Get anything, I'll pay."

Still, she was met with no response. She gave it some deeper thought. "How about another sparring session?"

Finally, the blonde looked at her. He turned around and made his way into her car without consent. "You wanna get some ramen today?"

He simply shot her one of his emo glances. It was enough to make her shut up. In Crystal's perspective, he seemed to be sulking. How smol of him.

The ride seemed to last for forever. Him, looking out the window silently. She, wondering how she would deal with the silence.

When they arrived, Bakugo made his way to the arena on his own. Behind him, Crystal struggled to keep up. By the time she was climbing the last flight of stairs, Bakugo was already standing cross-armed by the door.

She shifted the door down, letting Bakugo in, followed by her.

Bakugo and Crystal made their stances on the platform, starting when both of them were ready.

This time, Crystal crystalized herself, making herself immune to the burns of Bakugo's explosions. Then she reverted back to her human form and jumped back as she tried to blind him with the metal she sent out from the box, towards his eyes.

It covered his eyes for a while. He grunted and pulled at it, eventually exploding it off. As the duel escalated, it became tougher and tougher. Bakugo seemed to gradually get back to his usual self.

She pounced at him with her wings, only to be shoved flat on the floor by the impact of his explosions. When she looked up, his expression was different. The fury in his eyes was restored. "I won, asshole," he smirked deviously.
