The next day, they finally received their hero costumes. Crystal's costume consisted of a black fabric that started from the base of her ribs and around it, covering only her front and ending at her neck, where the straps held onto a silver band that rested on her collar.

There was a thin long black plank of chromium that linked the silver band and the length of black cloth that surrounded a thin portion of her ribs.

Her wings wouldn't struggle with the tank top, unlike with the usual sports bra.

The belt area of her black pants was covered with a steel cuff that was almost weightless, it was a belt substitute of sorts. Her tight pants lead down to her ankle, where two shiny titanium links would mark the end of her pants.

The fabric was completely fireproof and breathable, bulletproof too. She wondered how they even acquired this really weird fabric. Plus, it was black. It would hardly ever look dirty, even if it was. a huge plus for Crystal.

After everyone got ready, they assembled at the arena used during the entrance exam. There, they were shocked with All Might's presence.

He explained something about a hero pair against a villain pair and protecting a rocket or missile or whatever he said. Crystal only managed to catch a bit. She was staring at Todoroki, comparing his costume to Bob The Builder's. 

Nevertheless, people were put in their pairs. Crystal got paired up with the acid girl whose name she recently discovered was Mina, as a hero team. She seemed alright.

They huddled up and discussed the same typical strategy every action movie had. A distraction. A very weird one actually.

They were against Momo and Kaminari, a pair Crystal doubted would work.

When their turns came up, Mina searched for Kaminari, who was clearly on the offense, patrolling the building where the rocket was while whistling.

Meanwhile, Crystal, as discreetly as she could, conjured a bunch of metal from the buildings around her, shaping it into an uneven plank. She removed her Nike sneakers and lined their inside with metal.

Then she stood on the plank, levitating it until she found the nearest window to where Momo was. She hid beside the window, peaking as much as she could without exposing herself.

There Momo was one hand on the rocket. Crystal sent the shoes behind the pillars and into the only hallway that led to the room. She made them tap on the floor one by one, making the same sound running made.

Once Momo left to check on it, Crystal leaped into the window, dashing to the rocket.

As soon as the rocket was near, she pounced on it and hugged it. "VICTORY!" She screamed in relief.

Crystal and Mina returned to the waiting area, where they received compliments. 

Crystal sat as the trials went by, looking forward to only one match. She wanted to see how Bakugo and Tenya would fare against Ochaco and Deku, the greenie with super strength. It'd be fun to spectate.

When i first saw Todoroki's costume i was like - he looks like someone. Then at school someone sang the opening to bob the builder and i was like - OH THATS RIGHT.
