"But I still wanna know, how she got in the door, uninvited."
Goldfrapp, Rocket

OH GOD. Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad. It was my Dad that was planning on killing my friends, my Dad, who had scared the living daylights out of Artemis...

Oh, you're not getting away with this one.

I gritted my teeth.
"Shady, you're not thinking of-"

"No! I am not going to leave you guys! As if I'd actually listen to them!" They both stared at me after my emotional outburst. I went red, and looked away.

"We can access the hangar from here," Robin said, as we began to run. A tsunami came crashing down the corridor. "Or not," he said, as we ran faster.

"Will you please stop saying that!" Artemis yelled, clearly very uncomfortable. The hall became a water passage, and I quickly pulled out my extra breathers, however I only had two. I shoved them into the other twos mouths, caring more about them than me.

Then I felt a sudden grab on my leg. I let out most of my air in surprise. I turned and saw the water robot, and started punching and kicking frantically.

In the end I stuck a shocker on the side of it's head, leaving him stunned momentarily. I took that time to grab Artemis and Robin and swim to the hangar, in which I came up still awake, but they weren't. I dodged some more fire blasts, and made my way to Superboy and Wally, who were encased in what looked like Carbonite. Except they weren't in a sleep.

Heh, Star Wars.

"You guys ok?" I asked quietly. I still was holding onto Robin and Artemis, but I was starting to get really worried about them.

"Forget us! Help M'gann!" Superboy yelled.
I looked up, and was horrified to see her and Kaldur in a fire cage. That was bad.

"Kaldur! Is she..." I trailed off, seeing her with her eyes closed in his arms.

"She is unconscious! I fear that we cannot survive much longer!"

"What happened to Rob and Artemis?!" Wally yelled.

"I don't know!" I shrieked, feeling more panicked than ever.

WELL, THIS IS HELPING, ISN'T IT NOW?!

Another fire blast came.
"Really not the bloody time!" I screamed, pulling them both away again, but not before sticking one of Robin's comm things next to Wally.

I swam up, and ran to the steps, still feeling sick. I rested for about two seconds, before I heard those clunking footsteps behind me.

"No, no, no!" I muttered, trying drag the other two towards the exit.

"You cannot win. Surrender and we will take you," the robot told me.

"Take me where?!" I cried, tears leaking from my eyes, still pulling pathetically. "Why can't you bloody piss off and leave me alone?!"

"To your-" it was cut off by an explosive hitting him the face. And it wasn't one of mine.

I turned joyfully to Robin, "Thank-"

I didn't have time to gush my concerns, because he grabbed me by the waist and tackled me into the water. I had managed to keep a grip on Artemis so she came with us.
We surfaced, and climbed into the pipes again. We sat for a few seconds, catching our breath. Then I checked Artemis.

"Still alive," I whimpered in relief. "Now what?"

"We save them, that's how it works,"

"Maybe that's how it's supposed to work, but those robots already took out our super powered friends!" Artemis yelled, suddenly awake again.
