"Happy anniversary, babe." Christian smiled, handing you a beautiful bouquet of red roses. "You too. Thank you." You reply, gladly accepting the vase full of flowers. You stand on your toes kiss him on the cheek.

"So, what did you have planned for tonight?" You ask him, trying to determine what you should wear. "Well, I was thinking that we would go to dinner then go ice skating, so dress warmly." He replies.

------

"Dinner was absolutely amazing. Thank you, Chris." You thanked him after genuinely enjoying the food. He curved his eyebrows in response to his nickname, giving you the response that you expected.

"It was my pleasure, (Y/N)." He retaliates with a laugh.

------

"Come on (Y/N), If you slip, I'm right here to catch you." Christian reassures you as you contemplate how the heck you are going to balance on the ice.

"Fine. But just saying, this is an awful idea." You groaned while reaching for his arm.

After a few laps of you holding onto Christian's arm, you decide to test your limits and skate by yourself. "Ok, Chris. You can let me go now."

"Are you sure" He responded, unsure of how well you could skate without his aid. You simply nodded and he respected your wishes as you push yourself off of him for momentum.

You were doing perfectly fine until a little boy skated out in front of you, completely cutting you and Yelich off. Off balance, you stuck out your arms to steady yourself but ended up making it worse. You fall flat on your behind.

Christian immediately rushed to your side, trying a make sure you were ok. You simply laughed at your mistake and told him, "I guess I had one glass of wine too many at dinner." He laughed at your comment and picked you up off of the cold ice.

You hissed at the stabbing pain in your right wrist. "What's wrong, are you hurt?" The baseball player asked you, praying that you were fine.

"I landed on my wrist." You reply as Christian skates you off of the ice.

------

Cradling your hand, the two of you get in the car and drive to the emergency room only to find out that it was sprained. Christian felt horrible about what happened. He apologized endlessly, feeling like this could have been avoided.

You didn't give the injury a second thought until you remembered what tomorrow was.

"Oh, crap." You mumbled under your breath with the realization that you had to make an appearance at a red carpet event for a movie that you starred in in twenty hours. How were you going to possibly get ready without your dominant hand?

------

"Ok Christian, I'm going to need you to help me do my hair and makeup." You order, giving him a game-plan.

"Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy." Yelich replies, underestimating how hard it would actually be.

"Alright, this is the hairstyle you need to do." You hand Christian your phone which has a video of a tutorial of how to put your hair into a bun.

He takes the phone and watches it silently, deep in thought. Finally completing the video, he sat at the corner of the bed with you on the floor in between his legs.

"I gave you one of the easiest hairstyles possible, so please don't mess this up." You plead, afraid of what the final result could look like.

Grabbing your hair and twisting it as tight as possible, Christian completes the hairstyle to your liking after two hours of pain and misery.

"Well, this is as good as it's going to get." You say to him, completely crushing his confidence.

"Now for the make-up." You remind him and he groans, massaging his aching arms. "Suck it up, buttercup. Beauty is pain."
