The Philosophy of Time Travel, a novel written by no other than Roberta Sparrow, Grandma Death as I've known her for most of my life. This is where most of my insight comes from, mixed with my heinous experiences. Later, soon, very soon, I'll get to really talking about Grandma Death before and Roberta Sparrow after, for now, the ensurance trap. The Philosophy of Time Travel, mentions this, Chapter 7, the manipulated living will do anything to save themselves from oblivion, and within this tey build a trap for the living receiver. This is an effective role that all of the manipulated pay, both the living and the dead. They have no choice figuratively and literally, in no way is this their fault and it shouldn't be their responsibility, but shit. Their main goal is to lure the living receiver, which in this situation is me, into a trap so there is no choice to be made besides sending the artifact out of the Tangent Universe and into the Primary Universe. They must try to save themselves, to do this they guide me to complete my mission. Inevitably my mission is to guide the artifact which brought all of us into this other universe out and back where it belongs. I was never taught how to save an entire universe from destruction and annihilation so getting it wrong the first few times shouldn't be frowned upon or ridiculed by the manipulated, but of course it was. I get it, if I was to die before completing my mission so would they, so no hard feelings. I wouldn't have completed my mission if it wasn't for the manipulated dead that had the most impact in the ensurance trap besides Frank, Gretchen. She was crucial in this trap and really the only reason I succeeded and didn't get everyone killed. It seems messed up and tragic the reason she was placed in my life. She became my significant other by choice and attraction at first or that's what I thought. Was the only reason we were together because she was the only person who could get me to fulfill my mission? Was her only purpose in my life to have me witness her death leading me to getting the artifact back where it belonged? Gretchen was placed here just to be another teenage girl to lure a teenage boy because that's all we could focus on.
