Chapter 10: Hana

I stood there in silence, staring at the guy who was dressed in black...

Here I am wearing all white... feeling out of place...

"Uh... you can let go..." The guy said softly as he looked at my clasped hand still around his...

"Oh!" I let go of his hand.

The guy nodded and looked around his surrounding...

The master was gone, I had noticed and looked around the room... but then watched as the guy walked around the room...

"So this is the tower of light..." He was whispering as he walked around the room... He then looked up at the ceiling full of stars. "Interesting..."

I waited for him to get done wandering and wondering... He then turned to me...

"My name is Jonas Liker." He said as he extended his hand.

I grasped it and shook his hand without trying to laugh with his last name...

"I am Hana Delphi." I said as we stopped shaking hands.

He laughed a bit. "We all have unique names, don't we?" He said.

I laughed too. "True. Especially, my teacher here... Ali Kichen."

"Now that's a funny name." Jonas laughed.

I nodded and then gave a serious look at him. "So... why were you running towards this tower?" I asked him.

"Well, you see... I have been in the darkness for a year..." Jonas began...

"A year?!" I exclaimed but then shook my head. "Sorry... it's just..."

"Weird, right?" Jonas finished for me as I nodded.

How was it possible for him to survive this long in the darkness...? Could it be true of what master said about the darkness not being evil.

"My master said the darkness was not evil... is it true?" I asked out loud and put my hands on my mouth when realizing that I said that.

Jonas looked at me strange and laugh a bit... "It's true. My master said that light was only here to find the chosen."

"Your... master?" I asked confused.

"Well, yes..." Jonas looked around and found the chair... and he sat down like he made himself home. "She taught me how to use powers of the darkness... which is strange because not a lot of people there has any control over anything. She kept mention time was trying to take back something..."

"Yea... that does sound strange... I mean about the darkness having powers... but my master mention about time too..." I said as I sat on the bed.

We stayed silent for a moment... then something came on my mind... how am I suppose to protect him from Ali who still thinks that darkness is evil...

Jonas noticed me and smiled a bit... "You could... make me invisible?"

"How?" I asked him.

"Who knows how?" Jonas laughed.

True... but I think it's possible with me. I was chosen for a reason.
