I was laying on my bed when I noticed something standing over me.

I jerked up in surprise and stared at this person who was cloaked. They had their hood covered to the point that you couldn't see their eyes.

After a moment, this person was just standing there as if they were staring at me.

I decided to break the silence.

"Um... hi?" I said to the person.

"Good, I thought for a moment you wouldn't see me." The person was female and I tilted my head a bit when she said that.

"Huh?" I was confused.

"Tell me... why haven't you follow that light?" The female asked me.

"I... I don't know." I said softly as I looked out of my window at the silver light.

The female looked out too and nodded slowly, "You're afraid."

"No!" I exclaimed but calm down, "You... are not really wrong." I lowered my head.

"Hmm... I'm just glad you are immune to this curse. And you do have a certain power inside of you." The female mumbled but I heard everything.

"Power?" I asked and then recalled the word before this... "Curse?"

The female nodded as she sat on the end of my bed. I backed away a bit, not sure why I did.

"You have so many questions, I know. But you need to understand one thing... that light... is your silver lining... a connection to releasing this world from this curse." The female said softly.

I looked back out of the window... then at her. "A silver lining... a connection?" I seemed to love repeating things but I am confused.

She nodded as she got up. "I got it! I can teach you the power of darkness. That way you can be ready for anything!" She said... "But first... what is your name?"

"I'm... I'm Jonas Liker." I replied, then thought for a moment... "What's your name?"

The female thought of this for a second then nodded. "No matter the name, you just have to call me Master." She grinned when saying this.

I almost fell out of my bed but quickly recovered. This Master person sure was weird.

"Oh... ok... Master." I said to her... even though, it just felt strange in my mouth saying that.

"Good..." She held out her hand to me, "Ready?"

I looked at her hand and slowly rose out of my bed... grabbed her hand, "Very well, then." I said, "I'm ready."

Thus, she lead me the way to the front door of my home... I almost backed away but she smiled gently, "It's okay... you're already immune to everything." She assured me..

I nodded as I followed her outside of the home and stared at the darkness that roamed the lands...

I sure hope I can help this world like she had told me... I hope this connection was right.
