Chapter 10: Ali

I felt my whole floated behind this guy called Eli.

We were going down the stairs...

I couldn't quite make out what he was saying but I could see... he was summoning these creatures to chase people out of this tower. There was nowhere for them go.

My guardian was one of the victims...

I tried yelling but it was useless... they would never hear me.

Being inside a ball of light, I felt useless.

I watched in horror as we stood at the door, everybody had been frozen in time outside.

Then I saw Hana appearing there in front of the tower.

I watched everything... she turned to the doors... and Eli grinned as he stepped out of the glass doors.

It was hard to hear again...

Hana was there in front of the ball of light.

'No.' I thought. 'There's a curse...'

But it was too late... Hana had touched the ball...

"HANA!" I tried yelling but to no prevail... she couldn't hear me.

I felt my body floating upwards to the sky...

I felt myself slowing fading...

Something was wrong... my memories... they were fading..

'Hana...' I whimpered as I felt the darkness...

Suddenly, a bright light appeared around me... not sure where from...

"Don't worry... Hana will find you." A voice whispered to me...

Who was it again? I don't know...

Though... Hana came to my mind... who was this person?

Soon, the darkness came again... and I felt myself fade away.

Who... was I again? I closed my eyes and just gave in into the dark... no idea what or why this was happening to me...

This was my fate... why... I wish I knew... I'm gone... I'm sorry... why...
