I finally had the moment to finally tell Hana about the journals.
"Look, these are handwritten." I spoke at last.
Hana looked over at the books and walked over... picked one up.
"These are by our masters... just no names." She whispered as she opened up and began reading...
I leaned against the desk and waited until she was done.
"Time magic." She said as she soon moved to the desk where an open book lay.
There, as if it was meant for us, was a chapter about time magic.
I briefly read it and realized something.
"Wait... but doesn't that mean..." I began but Hana stopped me...
"Yes, but it's something that can save the world." Hana said to me.
I lowered my head down. I didn't like the idea of having to sacrifice the memories... My family would have to forget me.
"Isn't there any other way?" I asked as I began scrolling through the books.
Hana shook her head and stayed silent.
This was not good... but I knew it was the only way.
I walked over the other side of the room and noticed a window there.
I looked out and noticed people running outside.
"Hey... Hana... come over here." I said as I motioned her over to the window.
Hana put the book down and walked over... She gasped a bit.
"That guy must be rushing all the people out of this tower." She said as she turned to me.
I nodded and held out my hand. "Let's go."
She grasped my hand and soon felt the magic of her teleportation. Something I couldn't do yet.
We stood looking out at the people who were being frozen in time since running out of the tower. We turned towards the tower and noticed that the silver light was gone.
"Where is he?" I asked as I looked around.
Hana just looked at the doors of the tower and pointed. "He's there."
I looked at her and prepared myself for what's to come.
"Come out." Hana said simply.
We soon saw the guy coming out with a ball of light behind him. This must be Ali, I had thought as I watched. But I did felt something was wrong.
Hana reached over to touch the ball of light.
"Hana, no!" I yelled but it was too late... as I soon saw the ball of light shooting towards the sky.
I felt this power of light from Hana and it grew bright, surrounding her. I could no longer see her figure.
"Go to her, Jonas." I heard a voice and soon realized it was my master's voice. So she was still around.
I gathered all the dark aura around me and just walked through this wall of light... I gently grabbed onto Hana's shoulder.
She soon recovered from whatever happened in that light.
"Eli..." I heard her whispered.
"What?" I had to ask.
Hana didn't say anything else as she started to walk towards the tower.
I noticed the guy was nowhere to be seen. I quickly followed Hana as she entered into the tower.
I knew we have to use the time magic soon... and well, who knew what I am to expect next.
