I don't know how many days had passed but I began to feel a dread... no... a doubt against this connection that my Master told me about.
I stopped and lowered my head.
My Master had just noticed and turned to look at me. "Why did you stop?" She asked me...
I sighed and looked straight at her, "Am I being a burden to you?" I asked her and she looked shock a bit.
She started to come towards me but I backed up a little. "Then why... why you... why do you care about me? Are we the only ones here?" I asked as I looked at her and then around me.
My Master stopped just a few steps in front of me and kneel down on her knee a bit... "It's not what it seems... You are the only one that seems to be immune to everything so far." She said softly... "The rest are at the tower."
I remembered before she mention about a tower... "So it's real?" I asked her and kneel in front of her as well.
"Yes." was all she said before silence came over both of us.
I sat down and stared at her as she sat down too... staring at the ground, not looking at me.
"So, why me?" I finally asked after a moment.
"Again, you may have a connection..." My Master whispered as she looked at me. "There's people who can control the power of light... and there are others who can control the power of darkness... but the most powerful... can control time."
"Time?" I looked at her and crawl slowly to her. "There's a way to control time."
"Yes, but it comes with a price." My Master said as she looked down at the ground.
"What price?" I pressed on.
"Something you have to figure out on your own." She answered to me.
Then she stood up slowly and looked behind her at the direction we are moving away from.
I stood up too because I felt like something was watching us.
"We must move on." My Master said as she started to move towards the light now.
I quickly followed her... knowing that whatever lays ahead might give me an answer... to whatever was going.
