The Impossible Stars: Earth

Chapter 4: Jonas

I knew we are getting closer to the silver light... which I learned was a tower shining like that.

My Master kept looking behind us every few steps. I could tell something was following us but I do not knew what it was.

"Jonas..." She began as we walked on, "You are not a burden." She said softly.

"I know this now, you don't have to remind me." I said to her and she nodded lightly.

"Whatever happens, I want you to keep going." She mumbled enough for me to hear.

"Something is wrong, isn't it?" I finally asked since I couldn't shake off that feeling since a while ago.

My Master stopped and turned around, away from me. "Be ready."

I knew what she meant when I stopped to summon up the black sword.

"It's coming." She growled as she summoned up two black guns in midair. She grabbed for them and aimed towards the vast unknown that was behind us which was no in front of us.

I saw shadows... something that never been seen before in my life.

"What are those?" I asked her.

"Umbacrea." She mumbled and she aimed her gun... and shot a laser like thing at them.

"Lasers?" I asked as I swung my sword at one of the creatures.

"No, magic." She said as she kept shooting... "Do me a favor, Jonas... Go on ahead of me."

I looked at her... and shook my head, "No! What about you?" I asked her.

"I'll be fine. I always will... You must go the rest of the way on your own." She said to me.

"But..."

"Go, Jonas! I have other matters to deal with anyways." She said to me.

I turned towards the light and nodded. "I'm going."

I started to walk but heard her say, "Run!"

I began running and never looked back... I knew she would be alright... and I ran towards the light, with the sword in my hand.

I slashed any of the Umbacrea that stood in my way...

I caught the tower in my sight and I made the weapon disappeared as I ran faster...

Faster... Faster... Closer... Closer... I'm right closed to the tower...

Then I saw a girl flashed in front of me... She grabbed my hand... and we teleported.

I had closed my eyes due to the flash of light and... soon realized that I was inside a building...

I looked around me and then at the ceiling... stars... how... what... where...

Then I looked down at my hand still in the hand of this girl...

"Um... you can let go now." I mumbled softly to her...

She let go and laughed a bit...

Then silence began to rose between us...

What in the world was going on? For that I have to figure out on my own later.
