I tried in every way possible to avoid Hana.

The Master kept sending me letters, which was annoying. Why can't he/she ever come to meet me?

It was useless to be a teacher.

Yet, struggling to help everybody in this tower was something that I have to keep doing.

I stared down at the unfinished book that I have been reading. It was a book of teachings. It was sectioned off in different jobs or tasks.

I was trying to figure out what goes beyond that because I kept craving to learn more.

Whatever was about Hana, I wanted to be stronger than her some reason.

I gained the powers before she did and yet, she was tasked to be an investigator.

I felt a surge of anger but brushed it off.

A knock came at my door and I answered. It was my guardian. He stood there, holding out yet another letter to me.

I sighed as I took the letter and walked back into my small room... I knew my guardian followed me and sat on my bed.

"What?" I asked him as I caught him staring at me.

"Ever since you stumbled in here, you always did crave something." My guardian said softly and I glared at him.

"So what?" I said as I sat down at the small chair with the desk, placing the letter onto the desk.

"Are you going to read that?" My guardian pointed at the letter.

I shook my head. "Another time." I whispered.

Then my guardian just got up and left without saying a word.

But the thing... I felt like he never left. No... it was something else... somebody... different.

I stared at my bed and just shook my head.

I picked up the book again and started to read all of the pages again.

I felt the presence move beside me and I shook it off...

Yet, something inside of me made me pick up the letter as I sat the book down...

I opened it up and saw the words... "She is chosen"

My eyes grew large and I dropped the letter.

"Impossible." I whispered.

Utter... disbelief... came over me. I made a fist and hit the desk hard.

"Why her?!" I said as I slammed my fist against the desk again.

Some reason, I felt this unknown presence grin at me and yet... it felt weird. I calmed down and ignore the letter as I just waited for another letter to come...
