Chapter 14: Hana

I groan as I woke up. It seemed like a day... but laying a cold floor hurt a lot.

I rose up and look around the dark room... I summoned a small ball of light in my hand and noticed that I was teleported into a room.

This must be the master's room... I slowly stood up and groan from the pain of laying on the floor.

I walked around and noticed the room was full of books... and a lamp on a desk... I walked over to the desk and touched the lamp... light appeared as I made the ball of light disappeared... this room was full of magic... kind of like mine.

I heard Jonas groan behind me and I turned to him...

"Where are we?" I heard Jonas asked as I looked at him...

"In the master's room... he teleported us here." I said.

"Oh." Jonas stood up as I turned back to the desk and noticed an open book...

I lean down and read the words "Time Magic."

"Interesting." I heard Jonas say. I turned to him and noticed him browsing a shelf of books.

I walked over to him and read the titles on the sides of the books... and noticed the titles "Earth." "Faerie" "Avalon" and much more. These must be the worlds the master was talking about.

I picked the one about Earth and noticed a map... and stories... I closed the book and put it back on the shelf...

Jonas was taking some books off the shelf and I noticed a quick glance that these were handwritten...

"Are those journals?" I asked and he nodded as he handed me one of them...

I opened to the first page and noticed no name but an entry...

"To those who master time... you can see what I see." I read out loud...

"Time?" Jonas repeated as he sat the rest of the journals on the desk. Then he picked up the opened book that was on the desk.

"Yes." I said softly as I looked around the room and found a chair.

Jonas handed me the book that had been on the desk... and I started to read more about this "Time Magic."

"This... is what happened to Earth..." I said softly realizing the truth...

"Time..." Jonas whispered as he lean against the desk.

We both went silent as we began reading the journals and the book on Time Magic.

In my mind... I knew I must learn this new power somehow... to save Earth and save Ali.
