Dancing (greenflame)

Kai had been having some problems with his elemental powers lately.
It's like he's got the elemental flu.
He just gets the slightest bit of angry and flames just rise up everywhere.
Luckily they don't really damage or burn anything.
But every time it happens everyone does get startled.
Jay sounds like a girl when he screams.

So now he's gone for a walk.
It's been three days and flames still light up the room everytime the master of fire gets mad or annoyed.
Which happens quite often.
He might have some anger issues,  but his teammates don't help either.
He just wanted to get away from all the chaos.
You know maybe it's not a flu or a curse, maybe it's something mental that's causing this.
He has been pretty stressed lately.
Who knows when new evil decides to threaten ninjago.
So he's been training everyday, but pushing himself too much as a result.

Kai sighs.
He needs to stop thinking about all this, it's giving him a headache.

Suddenly a green figure descends from a tree and lands in front of him.
The green ninja takes of his mask and smiles at his boyfriend.
The fire ninja smiles back but the smile doesn't quite reach his eyes.
"Needed a break? "
Lloyd tilts his head as he asks.
"Yeah, it got a bit too wild, even for me, when Cole and Nya started chasing Zane and Jay because they had thrown whipped cream in their faces. "
Lloyd laughs.
"Hahah yeah, did you see their faces though?
It was brilliant, they looked like Santa with their whipped cream beards! "
"Yeah if Santa was angry and very good at chasing people."
"I had no idea Cole could run like that."
After that they both fell into a comfortable silence.
Just walking along the forest path deeper into the woods.
Their hands intertwined.

After a few minutes of walking they stumbled upon a clearing.
There was a crystal clear lake and there were many flowers blooming all around.
After taking in the beautiful surroundings Kai looked over at his boyfriend and realised he had the look in his eyes.
The look that meant that he either has a great idea or he thinks it's a great idea but it's actually a really stupid idea.

Suddenly Lloyd puts his right hand on his shoulder and holds Kai's right hand in his left.
He starts humming a tune and swaying a bit until it's a twirl.
And then a swirl.
Until it's a full on dance.

It was nice,  just twirling and dancing around while both of them hum various songs together.
At one point kai even lifts his boyfriend up who in return squeaks in surprise.
The red ninja smirks,  feeling proud of himself.
Lloyd smirks back and to Kai's surprise holds him in his arms and takes the lead.

It goes on like that for a while until Kai dips the green ninja and they both just stand in that position,  catching their breath.
The master of fire just looks into Lloyd's forest green eyes and starts to get lost in them.
Lloyd notices and giggles waving a hand in front of his face.
"Helloo, earth to Kai? "
"Did you know your eyes really match with that bush? "
Lloyd snorts.
"Well it isn't difficult to match my eyes with something seeing as we are in a forest and almost everything is green."
The green ninja studies Kai's flaming amber eyes.
"It would be harder too match your eyes,  the only color close to yours would be the yellow of the sun. "
But as Lloyd looks up to look at the bright center of our solar system he realized it was going under.
For how long had they been dancing?
"Whoops looks like we better get back."
Kai says.
"Yeah alright. "

The two leave the clearing and start heading back,  once again in a comfortable silence.
Until Kai breaks it.
"Thank you. "
"Hmm?"
"Thanks for making me feel better,  I was blowing up at everyone,  scared them a lot too.
But you calmed me down and made me happy.
So, thanks for that, maybe now we don't have to worry about flames igniting every time someone makes a horrible joke."
Kai smiles with gratitude.
Lloyd smiles back.
"It's no problem.
You are my boyfriend and if you think I'm just going to let you sulk without trying to cheer you up your an idiot. "
"Gasp!
Did you just call me an idiot?! "
"Did you really think so low of me that I wouldn't even try to make you happy?! "
"Touché."
"We should really be heading home now if we want any of Zane's pasta."
"Alright then, race you there!"
Kai took off and Lloyd laughed as he started running after his boyfriend.

It's probs terrible but it's midnight rn so sush.
I also know that some people dissaprove of greenflame but please don't be too mean.
I get why but in my eyes after Lloyd had the tea he grew up and can have a boyfriend.
Then again if you are gonna go complain in the comments about this ship why??
If it irritates, disgusts,  makes you uncomfortable or u just don't like it.
