The Lantern Part 3 (greenflame)

Lloyd's instincts immediately urged him to move away from the incoming creature.
He clutched the lantern with Kai in it tightly and rolled away, dodging the Kamairha.
It snarled and pounced again, at which Lloyd dodged it again.
The creature didn't give up however.
It continued with the same moves and tactic, trying to wear Lloyd out.

'He can't keep this up for long.' Kai thought.
'Come on Kai! You talked big before. Time to show the bastard you weren't kidding!' At that thought he raised his hands and started building up energy in his palms.
Fire energy is much different from the green energy Lloyd used on the soul tree.
Where Lloyd's energy is calm, collected and commanding.
Kai's energy is excited,  untameable and destructive.
Kai channeled as much energy into his palms as he could in this state and got ready to strike.
The Kamairha attacked again as Lloyd  moved out of the way.
'He sounds out of breath.' Kai thought. 'Let's give him a break!'

"Hey kitty!" Kai smirked very full of himself. "Nice tails!"
And he raised his hands controlling all the energy into a blast wich went straight through the lantern and set fire to two of the Kamairha's tails.
The creature was taken by surprise and yelled in pain. "I'm going to throw you in a lake you damn rat!"
Oh it was mad.
The Kamairha put out it's tails by hitting a tree with them and took out it's claws. "Enough playing. I'm selling you both!" At that it moved again, but this time with more speed and a different tactic.
Lloyd couldn't manage to dodge in time and the creature knocked the lantern out of his hands.
It broke and Kai's flame almost went out because of the strong wind.
He'd need to find shelter before he got blown out!

'The lantern broke! Kai's flame! This isn't good! We're going to end up as somebody's servants, property,  whatever you want to call it! At least I will, I'm not sure how long Kai's flame will survive in this wind! Lloyd panicked as he frantically tried to lure the Kamairah away from the broken lantern and Kai.
The creature took the bait and Lloyd managed to knock it into a tree.
The Kamairha was furious and snarled whilst he jumped too quick for Lloyd and knocked him to the ground.
It grinned as it sank it's teeth into Lloyd's left shoulder.
Lloyd cried out as the creature bit deeper trying to push it away.
'I'm going to lose consciousness because of the pain! If I black out now we'll surely get sold! What do I do? What do I do?!

Then Lloyd heard the Kamairha cry out as a sword sliced it's back.
The creature staggerd backwards and Lloyd quickly crawled away, holding his shoulder tightly.
The Olgron growled as it threw itself on top of the furious Kamairha, demanding it's prey back.
It must've heard all the ruckus and come to take the Kaladins for himself!
'Alright I can deal with this!' Lloyd assures himself. 'Just let them fight it out, face the weakened victor together and defeat it. No problem! It's not like I'm wounded, blacking out and my partner is not able to deal any real damage! ...Yeah no scratch that we're screwed!'

Lloyd crawled towards the lantern and spotted Kai under a piece of glass, seeking shelter from the wind.
"Lloyd are you okay?! Oh no you're bleeding!" Kai worried.
"It's fine!" Lloyd assured him. "I'll deal with it later, right now we have to deal with them."
He pointed towards to the Olgron who'd stabbed the Kamairha.
It looks like the Olgron might win!
Though he is missing a hand.
"There is no way I can hold either of them off Kai!" Lloyd panicks.
"Sure you can! You're a green Kaladin! No, you're better! You're Lloyd the green Kaladin! You can totally take both of them on at the same time!" Kai insists, trying to give his companion confidence.

It doesn't work.

"No I really can't take them! I don't know any attack spells! My powers are for healing and connecting to stuff, I don't know how to hurt someone!"
"Uh, then can you defend us?" Kai asks, starting to grasp just how screwed they are.
"Yes, but how is that going to help? I can't just keep up a shield forever!" Lloyd freaked out.
Because of that Kai lost it.
"OKAY YES WE'RE DEAD, LLOYD HOLD ME!" Kai yelled.
And because of that Lloyd found it.
"That's it! Kai you can attack people right?" Lloyd asks, feeling hopeful again.
"Well yeah?! But not like thi-"
"Alright then. Get ready!" Lloyd interrupted him as he let go of his shoulder and scooped Kai up in his hands.
"Wait what are you-"
