Lego Ninjago oneshots

We have to talk Part 1 (greenflame)

Kai stares.
It was pouring down, his clothes were soaked, but he didn't care.

~A few hours earlier~

He had been training to perfect his fire orb technique.
Creating hot fiery orbs again and again which he then fired at his target, a scarecrow that had been through a lot.
It had been swooped up into a small tsunami Nya had created by accident.
Been frozen solid by Zane, struck by lightning and punched in the "face".
And now the scarecrow was being burnt to a crisp.
He began turning his hands once again and started to collect energy to create another ball of flames.
He threw the orb and hit his target right in the face, knocking the head of its torso causing it to fall to the ground whilst being consumed by flames.
Kai let out a sigh and moved to sit down on the slightly charred grass.

Not soon after he'd sat down however somebody joined him.
"I guess the scarecrow has finally fallen."
"Yep he couldn't handle my awesomeness."
Kai said as he lazily kicked the head, which was still on fire, closer too the pond.
He lifted his foot once more to kick again when his sister rolled her eyes and lifted her hand, putting out the flames without her water.
"Kai about yesterday-"
"Nya please I'd rather not have this conversation again."
"But if you don't talk about this to someone you'll only feel worse."
"I know but-"
Kai let out a deep sigh and fell to the ground with a dramatic flop.

Yesterday he'd told his sister about some things that were bothering him.
Things about his relationship with Lloyd.
It was nothing major.
Just something small that just really bothered him.
He and Lloyd had been together for two months now.
Cuddling, watching movies together, holding hands.
But even tho they'd been together for two months they'd never kissed.
Kai had tried to several times, but each time something intervened or Lloyd didn't feel ready.
And, he understands Lloyd is nervous about kissing, and wants to respect his boundaries.
But ik kissing is a thing you do when dating.
Kai has waited for two months now and is getting inpatient.
He complained about it to Nya and she insisted he talk to Lloyd about this.
But even tho communication is key in relationships, Kai is afraid of pressuring Lloyd.
He doesn't want to make his boyfriend sad, but he does want to smooch him.
Argh!

Nya sighed looking down on her older brother.
He was making this way too big of a deal.
"Okay listen here you over dramatic cinnamon roll.
You either talk to him, explain to him how you feel, or I'm telling to him."
She glared down at him.
"Uuuuuuugh, fiiine."
Kai says exasperated glaring back.
"Good, now get up you're all sweaty from mangling the scarecrow all day, go take a shower you stinky boi!"
Nya points to the showers and heaves up her brother.

"Ow!"
Nya had left Kai to shower and he'd just managed to get soap into his eyes.
He tried to rinse the bubbles out of his eyes and opened one.
Everything was blurry.
He was going to talk to Lloyd.
He closed his eyes again and started to wash the shampoo out of his hair.
He wasn't going to pressure him into anything just voice how he feels.
Everything was still pretty blurry.
He wasn't going to hurt Lloyd.
He rubbed his eyes.
Lloyd wasn't going to hate him.

Kai clumsily turned off the shower and started drying his hair.
He put on some clean clothes, brushed his teeth and went out into the living area.

Jay was playing video games against Cole.
Zane was reading a book and occasionally glanced at the game onscreen.
"Hey guys what's up?"
"Cole is gonna do my laundry for the next month because there is no way I'm losing this."
Jay grunts, focusing on racing against his opponent.
"I'm reading a book about caterpillars, did you know they have twelve eyes?"
Zane states.
"Interesting, Kai says, where are the others?"
"I believe Wu, Garmadon and Misako are running the tea shop, Nya went to her room and Lloyd's just gone out for a walk.
"Ah okay, well I gotta go, Cole kick Jay's ass for me."
"Will do."
Cole responds.
"Hey-"
Jay's protesting however is cut off as Kai closes the door behind him.

Deciding where to look for Lloyd first Kai took off.
However, jogging along the path on Lloyd's favorite route proved to be quite the exhausting task and once spotting Lloyd Kai's legs decided to give out.
Lloyd ran over to him and held out his hand.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
Kai said as he took the hand.
It was a soft hand and around his wrist was a pretty bracelet with jade and amethyst beads.
Amber eyes met green ones and Kai opened his mouth to speak.
"We have to talk."

I am so sorry for deleting this earlier and so lucky for still having it in my files!
As an apology I'm going to upload a "special" oneshot I found in my files.
I'd forgotten I made it, kinda. You'll see what I mean.
Of course I'll also upload part 4 of the lantern once it's finished.
