"Mom why are you crying?" I say

"It's because..." My mom says

"Because of what?" I say

"Because my baby girl is getting married" my mom says

"Mom it's gonna be okay, please don't cry" I say

"Your father is not gonna come to your wedding you know that" my mom says

"Maybe we could invite him over" I say

"Honey that's a not a good idea" my mom says

"I don't care mom I'm going to try" I say

"Okay" my mom says

"Shai are you sure you wanna do this?" Theo says

"Yes I'm sure" I say

I type my password and unlock my phone then I call my dad.

"Hello" my dad Saids

"Hey dad can you come over?" I say

"why" he says

"Can you just please" I say

"Ok, I'll be over in 5" he says

"Okay bye see you then" I say

"Okay bye" he says

I hear a knock on the door and I open the door and I see it's my dad.

"Come on in dad" I say

"What is he doing here?" He says

Theos POV:

"What is he doing here?" Shais dad says

"Um that's what I need to talk to you about, I suggest to sit down" shai says

Shai and her dad both sit down on the couch.

"I told you to stay away from him" her dad says

"Look dad you don't understand how much I love theo, but we're getting married in April" shai says

"YOU ARE NOT GETTING MARRIED TO THAT IDIOT SHAILENE DIAAN WOODLEY!" Her dad yells

I am not an Idiot, I know I can be childish sometimes but I can be very mature. But shailenes dad just doesn't understand that.

"But dad I love him" shai says

"HE DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME HIS BLESSING" her dad says

"STOP" Lori says

"I love shai very much mr.woodley would you please let us get married" I say

"Oh just shut the hell up you didn't even give us my blessing" her dad says

"I AM MARRYING HIM" shai says

"NO YOU ARE NOT" her dad yells

Shai starts to tear up and opens the front door and runs outside into the night. I run after her.

This cannot be happening we cannot cancel the wedding.
