--Maya's POV--
My eyelids are heavy, but I'm awake. The voice is muffled, but I can hear a man. My body hurts and I'm laying on something soft.
"H-elp" I manage to say. The voice seems surprised and the voice becomes more clearer.
"Thank god your alive! Can you open your eyes?" I feel 2 hands on my shoulders. I slowly try and my eyelids slowly open. There's bright light and then it slowly fades so I can see.
I lay in some room, and a male face watches me with brown eyes and a gray hood over his brown hair.
"Are you ok?" He asks.
I put my hand to my head and slowly sit up, and the male helps me.
"You can sit up, so that's good".
"W-what happened?"
"Me and my partner found you jump out of a car and then pass out". The memories flood back in.
"Oh...yeah. Bad idea I guess?" I chuckle, rubbing my forehead.
"Yeah, but, who were you running from?" He asks, sitting across from me. I think hard, and then the name comes.
"Jimmy Casket" I say, no emotion in my voice. The males eyes go wide as he stands up.
"Toast, get down here NOW!" The male yells.
