--Ghost’s POV—

I finally reach the hotel and don’t even park correctly. I shut the car off and race inside. It is just turning night, and all the lights seem to be off. Only moonlight streams through the windows, letting little light to see.

Papa Acachella, Billy, Sally, or Maya are nowhere to be seen,

“Maya!? Maya where are you!?” I shout, looking around the first floor.

“I’m up here,” I hear a familiar voice shout and my gaze shoots to the stairs. I race up and stare down the hallway of doors. I check each one till I reach the last one at the end of the hallway. I push it open and step in.

The room seems empty, and the only window in the room is halfway open. I dash to the window and look outside. The town is empty and no signs of Maya. I slam my fist at the glass and turn around.

And run into someone. I fall back and my back slams against the wall. I slide to the ground and take a quick breath. I look up I ran into. My body stiffens at my eyes go wide at who it is.

Its Maya… but isn’t. Her long brown hair is the same but the ends are stained red. She wears the same clothes me and Toast found her in. And her green eyes are now deep red.

“M-Maya!” I seem to choke out and I hear her chuckle creepily in the dark. Then someone else appears in the room.

“Surprised, are you?” Casket asks, walking up to stand next to Maya.

“W-What did you do to her!?” I yell at him as I try to stand back up.

“I did nothing; she is who she really is right now.” I stare at Casket and then look over at Maya.

She is who she really is right now, What was he talking about!?

“You are probably confused. Its ok, you will learn everything soon,” He says as he jumps at me. I try to dodge but I’m too slow. I feel a piercing pain in my chest and I slide to the floor. I soon see red. Then black.
