--Mayas POV--
When I’m finally able to open my eyes, I’m somewhat blinded by a sudden bright light. I hold my arm over my eyes till my eyes adjust to the light. I remove my arm and look around. I’m back in my hotel room.
“Wha,” I start to speak when suddenly Ghost is at my side.
“Maya your awake!” he exclaims and I sit up a bit.
“Awake? What happened?”
“Hard to explain, but Toast will,” Ghost said, motioning to the person behind him. Toast was there, alive, sitting in a chair at the other side of the room. I smile and sit up fully.
“T-Toast, you’re alive!?” Toast chuckles and nods.
“Yep I am; Time to explain, sir?” Ghost nods and Toast nods back.
“Ok, well, when Casket killed me, instead of dying, I got teleported to the 13th dimension. I got some help from the 13th dimension version of the Papa Acachella family which is… really, really interesting. “
“They helped me get back alive where I found Casket come and capture you and Ghost. I secretly followed him and then I saved you guys.” I sat there on my bed, staring at Toast.
“So, now, what about Casket?” Ghost asks.
“He should lose his body and..,” Toast trails off on what he was going to say.
“A-And then what?” I ask but I didn’t need to ask that. I see Toast’s eyes go wide as he looks over at Ghost. I slowly look over at Ghost. Then I quickly jump off the bed and back up.
“Miss me?” Ghost, or… Casket says. Ghost looks the same though his gray hood is pulled up and his pupils are blood red.
“H-How is t-thi-“I don’t get to complete my sentence as Toast grabs my arms and starts racing out of the hotel. I run quickly with him, looking behind me to see Casket chasing us, a knife in his hand. As Toast and I run out of the hotel, we hop in Ghost’s car as Toast drives off.
“How is he going to chase us!?”
“Who knows… but he will,” Toast replies, as we drive out of the town.
