Trigger warning//: there is abuse and torture featured in this chapter. Also this is an actual emotional rollercoaster and I thought about splitting it into two chapters because of the shift of emotions, but I decided to just make it one mildly long chapter.
I woke strapped a freezing metal table and Athena whimpering in the back of my head. She was screaming and I could tell there was something truly wrong, but my head felt so heavy. My vision was blurred and everything sounded like I was deep under water, but I could still tell I was in the basement of the Capers' Alpha house. The dank lightening, slightly damp and humid air pressing against my sweating skin, the scent of mold, the smell of my own flesh burning underneath sliver hand cuffs, even the steel table were sharply familiar. I knew what was to come, but I was too weak to do much.
My entire body felt so heavy as I weakly struggled against my restraints. I still could not concentrate or hear Athena and I was terribly nauseous the smell of mold did nothing to help. I was entirely helpless has my body went lax against the frigid table.
I felt as if hours and hours had passed. I got random bursts of energy where I would struggle against the restraints and whimper for help. This of course was fruitless. I would never get away from the Capers and no one would ever come for me. However, with time the drug did wear off just enough for me to feel Athena again and hear her screams as she attempts fight whatever drug was in my system.
'Fight with me, Tiffany please. We have get of here before he comes.'
I could not reply, but I did as she asked and wordlessly promised to fight for her. I tried to free myself again as I was hit with another rush of energy, but I this rush was cut short as I heard a thumping outside.
The familiar scent of the reigning alpha of Golden Moon consume me, but it is not just him I smell. There is a sickly sweet aroma that I know all to well. The force of the potent scent wakes me up from my drug induced half sleep and scorches down my nostrils and throat.
'Oh Luna please no.' Athena whispers before starting a prayer.
Tears slide down my sweaty cheeks as I scream and thrash about. I was definitely stronger now without the drug weighing my muscles down, but it was still not enough.
The thumping outside stopped just as the door opened with a loud groan. Those devil green eyes entered room with an IV bag of wolfsbane. "Please no. Please Alpha no. I promise I will be good. Please I can't take it. Not again." I begged and pleaded as my heart attempted to force its way out of my chest.
"Luna please." I cried.
"Hush up, bitch. Luna doesn't pity the weak and neither will I." And with that he forced the IV into a vein in my right arm. The golden liquid burned up my veins like fire. The pain was unbearable. I nearly blacked out.
A shrill, blood curdling wail reached my ringing underwater ears. From the ache in my throat and diaphragm I knew this scream was, but the drug that made me nauseous still kept my ears too far away to hear.
'Tiffany.' Athena calls. I could feel her trying to communicate, but each word is slurred beyond recognition as if she were shouting at me underwater.
I was paralyzed as the venom raced up my arms and flooded my chest. I could feel the poison invade my heart and lungs. Each breath was like breathing in razor blades and each thump of my heart pushed the poison faster throughout my body.
I send a silent prayer to the Great Luna of a quick death as black spots filled my vision. Athena's voice punched through the water. 'Wake up, Tiffany! This is a nightmare!'
